You've started already? If I tried that it would be all gone by Christmas. :o

I will be at my brother's house for Christmas so this ham is for me. Two large slices for dinner Sunday and two smaller ones with my eggs for breakfast...and probably will use the hambone to make split pea soup later today

I see, I have a ham as well but it's mainly going to go on sandwiches tbh... with some home made chutney. That goes well with the ham after it's gone cold. :)

Mum's invited everyone round to hers after Christmas as usual, and when she says everyone that means it's not optional. She will expect to see my dad too, even though she's been married to someone else for quarter of a century that doesn't mean he gets away with it either.
It's her way of checking up on grandchildren, children and any current partners, also pets as I've got to take the dog too apparently.

Mum has spoken... no-one messes with her. :rotflmao:

Everyone should have a Greek mum... it makes you unafraid of anything else in the world.

Anyway, today apart from furnishing the larder at Castle NOTA I have been doing a bit of writing and stuff. Mind when I say stuff I'm not meaning wild parties and dodgy drugs but some tidying up, stuff sounds more exciting though.

The writing is out elsewhere on the net and I was going to copy it here but I guess this site being the conduit to all wingnuts I will have to abridge it slightly/a lot.
It is the diary of the internet people... a few of us that have a similar hobby have written of our various adventures with meeting the inhabitants of the web. I've confined it to 2011 as I'll be here forever otherwise and also I can't remember hundreds of bods.

I shall peruse it while I'm busy *cough* at work tomorrow morning and see what happens... it's not like I'm going to have much else to do but hey, why take holidays when it's busy.

It's a hard life... 8)

I wish I'd not let those pringles loose on the world. :piggy:

Time for bed... eh, what's this?? Some nutter e-mailing me at this time of night, you'll have to wait until morning old hag.

I'd chew my own leg off to get out of going to those big old gatherings. All of those aunt's uncles and cousins........mentalists, the lot of them!

That run in the family then??

Aww, it's not so terrible surely unless they've directly aggravated you in some way in the past? If it's like my family you might get plenty of grub when you turn up too. It's all so distant enough as it is nowadays, I think being sociable once a year's not too bad.

Go on... it's Christmas. :bighug:

I did inherit a liking for aubergines and a habit of waving my arms about when I'm talking.

I have the red hair but not the freckles & blue eyes that tend to go with it, mum's mum had a very dark sort of red hair so it's a bit of a mixture I guess.

Ahh, the elusive SZ...

At ten to four in the morning no less, when all happy scoffers & writers are tucked up under the old duvet.

I am fine ta, still writing and gadding about as usual. Not so much writing here still (obviously) due to having better audiences elsewhere on the interwebs but little bits appear once in a while.

Broke a hip eh? Not so good, if that's anything like having a cracked up pelvis then I'm sorry... it must hurt a lot.
Still scoffing though so there's hope yet... Image

Anyway, hope all is well for you and yours and you have a happy Christmas & New Year.

Oh my! I never meant to :gah:

This will be my last break-in to your comely prose! :?

In fact, if in the way, please feel free to ask me to delete. *****

Meanwhile, your pelvis? That had to hurt! Image

Yep. My thing was more than I will explain here. :shh:

Let's just say tho' I walk it is like this right now. Image

Nevertheless, Image

And if, per chance, the last two previous posts were for me, I thank Lena and JinJin as well.

NOTA, you truly are an artist-writer and I love all that you do (that I know of).

There's no need to delete anything here... it's a forum, it's handy for writing stuff. Though you post your pic stories here no longer, it's a shame... goodness knows what goes on now down in the celebrity parts of this board without your happy thread.

Well, I do like that wiggly walk smiley, it wouldn't be the first time I've done that. About two pints of cider and that's almost exactly how I would be walking... not a good look I suppose but it is funny.

Thank you though, you have probably seen more of my stuff somewhere on the net... wherever there is daftness or pics of this & that then I might not be too far away. The names are many... too many to remember, not that I worry about these things.
As long as I get a chortle out out of somebody and I find happy RL people to amuse along the way then all is good.

Nothing wrong with occasional foolishness I say... it's not a bad hobby.
