Maxi Dresses for Weddings?

Postby Sarah1966 » Tue Jan 10, 2012 2:11 pm

Right, I've got a very important wedding coming up in may and I was thinking of wearing a maxi dress to it (as a guest). I'm looking for some advice on styles and accessories :)

Having a browse around, I'm looking for something conservative. What do you guys think of the one on the right of this page http://www.maxidressesforweddings.co.uk . It's quite conservative and covers the shoulders, yet quite elegant; very pretty I think.

:) It does, but they don't actually sell the dress funnily enough. Anybody know where I could get one similar?

When I attended my cousin's wedding. I wore a blue maxi dress to compliment their motif. What I like about maxi dress is that, you can wear it in any occasion without looking over rated.

Yea maxis are a good choice for weddings, especially in May at the start of summer, go for the feminine look with minimal make up and a floaty number and curly hair would look good
