I was thinking at work today (rare occurrence) that in a few years all being well and I'm not sacked for playing my version of ye olde techno classic "Das Boot" on the little xylophone that I keep in my office for those more serious moments... I will have been there at the end of two companies and at the beginning of two companies.
One of those I was there at the start and end of course. :(

I know from my college days at the Royal Mail which (at the time) was very hierarchical there's nothing more annoying than those old farts that were there from day one... "waffle waffle, back in the day, waffle, things were better, waffle". Image

Heh, that'll be me then.

Yes, it was a slow day in terms of car stuff... it's the transition bit between new things being proposed <insert a lot of buck passing and feature/tolerance changes> and actually getting some physical parts made.
And of course some rubbish musical interludes and posting on-line of amusing stories along the way.
Ahh, people took the piss when some of us decided to make a forum out of real live people not those an0nymous nutjobs that spout so freely their insignificant bollox in so many places. Bullshit is hard to do when not hiding behind a screen I have noticed... it's a bit sad really but hey, on the other side of the coin it does dig out the occasional gem of a human which makes me smile.

Smiling is good. :)

I am dishing out amusing stories and engaging in happy banter about aliens and food with fun people as per usual everywhere else I go on-line.
Must be the lack of action on this one that just leaves it as a place to have a whinge.

Those stories are all very interesting and amusing, NOTA, but where the fuck are the explicit sex scenes complete with dripping OMGs and eating the last of the domestic cats because it's impossible to get good tiger any more?
Nothing to declare.

F*** sake, I'm not writing those scenes of intense swallowing of knob followed by my party trick of a gargle of the 1812 overture and getting both nips up my nose. 8)

You just know tales of the dog and the occasional whinge is much more interesting...

*waits*

Meanwhile back in young non hag world, I see it's about an inch think with snow out. Perhaps a day off work tomorrow then, a time to grab hold of Baron von Wonka tie him down and do pervy things with chocolate custard and that collection of spurs... :whip:

Oh, sorry I forgot I have pervy old readers here.

Anyway, yeah... not a morning I fancy chipping the trusty Hotblack out from it's icy cocoon and ploughing my way into work, on a Friday too!!
Goodness me all we do on Fridays is dick about having meetings, sending some happy (means they are not working) bod down to our favourite sandwich shop for some bacon baps and the like and generally being very casual.

On one of the sites we've been discussing food coatings and "protective" atmospheres for packing... it's not good from some of the articles I've read. Really, I think I'll make more of an effort to grow more grub this year... once the epic garden makeover is complete that is.

Image

The amount of times I've been asked if I'm doing it Charlie Dimmock styleeee...

NO.

Oh, sorry I forgot I would make a 10000 guy fans worldwide weep into their cornflakes if I start talking about that sort of thing!

Fixed that for ya!

The Lagarfljótsormur was seen recently too.

Those lot over in the icy islands certainly have some weird tales... no wonder SirQ has an endless amount of stories, even more than me.

But, I have just been working on the finishing touches to the tale of all tales right now while in the bath. Look upon* my extra long post of immense mirth sometime tomorrow and be bereft of all smugness...

I am the purveyor of chortle. Image

A good day today, also had one of my arty chums round this afternoon. Both doing a bit of work on books atm. The one my mate's doing is not the sort of book I would do cover work for but it's good stuff. I am in the middle of doing a few doodles for a compilation type book for a club in Norfolk. Books seem to be popular right now for some reason, I thought it was all going digital but maybe not. :?

Right then, just a quick dip in the old bathtub... better things to do now.

A brill day... we did this and indeed that.
Possibly not in that order and wearing more velvet but any happy readers can fill in the gaps, can't be arsed typing much on this one as there's diddly happening as usual & I'm off in a mo anyway. I like a live & amusing audience not empty spaces.

Here's a quick couple of phone pics to fill up the post instead...

One of Molly out today with her fetching thong on.
