Great quote! Thanks for sharing. :D

On another note, the color of Angie's lipstick is atrocious, especially in the last pic where her mouth is wide open.

Thanks, Bennie, yeah that lipstick was put on by Pablo Picasso!

Are all directors this front and center. The real actors seem to be secondary, they are always with Jolie. Compare this to a movie in which the story and the actors organically carry the movie....I have never heard of Jean DuJardin but he and that dog are the star of the movie, not the director. The publicity that accompanies this movie is primarly about Jolie-Pitt and not the actors or the story. A truly GOOD movie would be able to stand on it's own.

Happy to see Angelina at the Premiere. Also happy she is back in France with her family. Her hubby was home with the babies while she few to Zagreb and back. No need to stay and watch the film again. She already did that in Bosnia, but happy that she felt it important enough to leave her husband and kids to go to the premiere. Angie has done great things for Bosnia with this important film.

Lots of people happy to see Jolie in Zagreb!

Who needs Brad Pitt? Angelina Jolie continues to promote In The Land of Blood and Honey alone in a radiant copper dress

As the Jolie-Pitt promotional train rolled on into another country one half of the power couple was noticeable by their absence.
Brad Pitt, who had been by his wife's side for the previous two screenings stayed well tonight and let Angelina Jolie take all the attention at the premiere of her movie In the Land of Blood and Honey.
The screening, which took place at the Cinestar movie hall in Zagreb, Croatia, was packed full of screaming fans who all wanted a chance to see their screen idol in person, and Jolie didn't disappoint them.
Glamour girl: Angelina Jolie attended the premiere of her film tonight in Croatia without Brad Pitt and still looked amazing
The 36-year-old looked stunning in a copper coloured dress and proved that less is more as her garment completely covered her while at the same time showing off her superb figure.

Jolie was radiant in the long sleeved number and wore her brown locks down with a few gentle curls which she accessorised with a pair of diamond earrings.
The superstar seemed almost overwhelmed by the enthusiastic and warm reception given to her by the crowd as she signed autographs and posed for pictures.
Shining star: Angelina wore diamond earrings and nude coloured shoes to the premiere of her directorial debut
Miss popularity: The Hollywood actress looked amazing and seemed overwhelmed by the warm reception
After spending time on the red carpet answering questions and waving to the crowd, Angelina then welcomed her cast members to step into the limelight.
Amongst the stars were Bosnian actress Zana Marjanovic and Serbian-born Croatian actor Rade Serbedzija who stood close to their former director.
Zana, 28, plays the female lead in the movie and she looked every inch the leading lady as she hugged up to Jolie in a cream dress.
Just dropping by: The actress waved to the crowd and later signed autographs before heading into the screening
Rade, 65, who also starred in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II, cut a dashing figure in an all black outfit with a matching a hat.
Set against the backdrop of the Bosnian war, the film tells the story of a Bosnian Serbian soldier Danijel (Goran Kostić), who comes across former love Ajla (Zana Marjanović), a Bosniak woman who is now a captive in the military prison camp he oversees.
The actress revealed her directorial experience on the movie helped her appreciate film again, after 'becoming disheartened,' with the medium.
Take a bow: The cast and the director of In The Land of Blood and Honey line up on the red carpet
Leading ladies: Angelina and the female star of her movie Bosnian actress Zana Marjanovic get close
She said: 'This film has taught me to love film again because I see what film can do and I see and I am re-inspired because I was not feeling very inspired as an actress. I was feeling very disheartened.
'I came to this film not because I wanted to be a director, I came to this film because the more I researched, the more I learned, the more angry I got.'
Angelina said she hoped the film was a 'wake-up call' for the international community to pay more attention to atrocities and act to prevent them in countries such as Syria, where a government crackdown has killed thousands in the past year.

The veteran: Serbian-born Croatian actor Rade Serbedzija cut a dashing figure in all black next to his director
'I am satisfied with what we made,' she said. 'I feel very strongly about it and I believe that its core issue - which is the need for intervention and need for the world to care about atrocities when they are happening - is very, very timely and especially with things that are happening in Syria today.'
The Croatia screening comes just one day after the actress premiered her movie in Paris, France.
Jolie took to the red carpet in the long white garment and even her gorgeous husband couldn't steal the limelight from her in her sophisticated outfit.
Always sublime: The Mr and Mrs Smith actress looked great at yesterdays premiere in Paris, France, too

She wore her hair down and kept her make-up simple with her famous full pout covered in red lipstick and a small amount of dark eyeliner highlighting her eyes.
Her special dress had a large flower creation that resembled a white rose on the left shoulder with small black stone detail lining the upper creases of the dress.

Idiot just insulted all the people in the film industry whose goodwill she needs, and she is too stupid to even realize it. I'm not saying I'm inspired by the crap out there, but then again, I am a lot smarter than she is. She is too dumb to be disheartened by the poor quality of anything. She is just trying to act superior here without having anything to back it up. You can know that this is what she is doing because she doesn't explain what it is about film that she is disheartened by. There is nothing. She is talking out of her a**. She is a poseur. And p*ssing off her peers.

I call bullsh*t on this. She did not say this. She blurted out "wake-up call" and "Syria" in a rambling incoherent word salad, and only because Syria is in the news and her UN handlers and PR people have been yammering about it so she thinks it's important. She doesn't have any thoughts about it and cannot form even a halfway grammatically correct statement about it. Where is the video on this? Bet you that this went down exactly as I described it, and the obliging interviewer cleaned up her blather again. They all do.

The irony is that even the cleaned up statement is vapid. "I want the world to do something about atrocities because of my feelings, blah blah blah." She is an idiot.

Those actors look exhausted. She's dragged them to how many premieres now? I hope they asked for extra pay for all the premieres because they couldn't have made much salary wise when there was such a big crew and the film cost only $15M

All I ever see in her statements and vapid incoherent ramblings are, "I I I me me me I I I me me me, have I mentioned that I I I, but it's really me me me me me."

My God, how self absorbed is she, and what makes this situation all the more laughable or even disgusting is that the media keeps enabling he with the constant hype and air being lown up her ass. Her level of grandioseness must have passed critical and blown a fuse a few years ago. I really don't think this woman could ever function without feeling like the world revolves around her and she shits strawberries. The media is so corrupt!

I'm sure she knows it. You can't be that bad of a rambling idiot and not realize the media is covering for you. It's like she has given up on ever learning to form and express a coherent statement all on her own because she knows the media will just clean up after her every time, so why bother? It has to kill her inside because the truth about her total incompetence goes against the image of culture and seriousness she is trying to craft.
