Obama meets with anyone as long as they're famous, loon. Who the f*ck do you think you're fooling? And Jolie was there for that meeting aswell, so obivously they were limited in what they could talk about.

As for the cast allowed and encouraged to speak their own opinions - care to prove that? Where's the links to all those interviews of the cast talking about the film WITHOUT Jolie present? I mean, shouldn't be that hard for you to find since they are "encouraged" to do so, right?

And, loon, Hollywood is about MONEY. Someone who fails to bring in MONEY is not even close to being "royalty" of Hollywood.

So I'm guessing ANUSton and the Balding Oompa Loompa will NEVER get the priviledge of meeting with President Obama.

Who gives a shitt? You people need to get better material, because a good portion of us couldn't care less what Aniston does or doesn't do. Loons are like broken records: "Huh, huh, huh, Anustain izz fats, heh heh heh, yer such haterz, huh, huh, huh." It's amazing that your arrested brains can even remember to take in oxygen. :costumed:

The press doesn't follow the actor. No one stalks them. They can't bring help or publicity on their own. Frankly, few know or care about any of the actors. This story could not have been told without Angelina. This film is and will always be about angelina. The fact that she took time from her busy life and financed this piece of art and is now promoting it in Europe and making sure that it is seen by being at premiers. The fact that she financed this film with her own money speaks volumns. Without her, no one would know what happened to Bosnian women during the war. The women are happy to have the truth out about what happened to them.

Where the f*ck are you and those you know from that it took angelina jolie telling you what happened through her "art" for you to know about the Bosnian war? This is just getting pathetic.

Was the Bosnian war discussed much at all, before Jolie got involved with making this movie? No! If war was the subject, it's Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and all the fighting areas in the Middle East, etc. Not Bosnia, a war that happened in the 90s.

Jolie most certainly put it back on the map. Now it's discussed again. It's possible that there are people who knew very little or nothing about that war and are now interested because of Jolie's ITLOBAH.
I understand there have been other movies made about that war, showing the Serbs as the bad guys, but I've never heard or seen any discussion about those movies, probably because no big name was associated with them. Now that Jolie is involved, it's different, isn't it! Even the haters from FF can't stop talking about it.

Why is it pathetic? If you're not interested, nobody is forcing you to talk about it.

That's true! The Western media is not much interested in the unknown actors from the Balkans who played in ITLOBAH.
I think only one of them (Rade ?) has been in a few other movies that people have heard of. I've seen in videos that Jolie does her best to get them involved in the back-and-forth with interviewers. I saw a video in which Jolie looked at one of them to encourage her to answer a question put by the interviewer to Jolie, but as soon as that actor finished her sentence the interviewer didn't have a follow-up question and went straight back to Jolie. It's very noticable.

She had to feel strongly about this to put her own money in it. I wouldn't say that no one would know what happened to Bosnian women during the war, but many people have forgotten. After all there have been several wars since then, and people forget quickly.
As usual there are mixed feelings about this movie in the place where it happened. Some are unhappy to be reminded of what happened, others are glad Jolie made this movie. Of course the Serbs hate it. I wish they'd be more open-minded.

With all this talking about the war that Angelina is responsible for, what exactly have you learned?

Good question! Her name attached to the project has really attracted a lot of movie goers hasn't it? Exactly what aspects of the Bosnian war have posters here been discussing? That war is bad? I'd wager that almost every poster already knows that.

Posters are different. Die-hard, irrational haters are only interested in slamming Jolie and Pitt personally. I notice they have no/not much interest in anything else.

Jolie and ITLOBAH have definitely attracted more attention that the other movies about this war. Not every movie needs to be an Avatar or Titanic. I haven't seen the first, and don't plan to, and saw a bit of the second and didn't like it.

I find it interesting that a movie that so few people have seen is actually reminding or educating so many other people worldwide.

Jolie has succeeded in the usual - causing controversy which draws attention to Jolie. She has failed miserably to bring awareness of this part of history to a larger audience. That's quite the shame since she appears to have no problem getting the attention of a celebrity hysterical press. You would think that with her years of experience in the movie business and with her supposed "expertise" as a celebrity goodwill ambassador she could have done a better job with this. Looks like all the over-reaching may be catching up with her.
