Or at least it would go to Woody if he were here, but he's not; he's back in New York, he doesn't like LA, where they turn their dead bodies into bad TV shows. "The Academy accepts this award on his behalf," smiles Jolie. I like the idea of her giving it to him person; perhaps showing up at his apartment, with her bare leg and her lipstick blazing. He'd be so terrified he'd call the cops."

Is that anyway to treat an A-list Superstar and the biggest Humanitarian in the whole world? Yes when they don't by her hype and she makes an absolute FOOL of herself! This should give the late night tv talk shows plenty to make fun of next week.

Actually the counter lets the presenters know how much time they have left (everybody gets a set amount of time) so nobody rambles on, goes over their time, and holds up the show. When he said "can we stop the counter" it meant he wanted the joke to go on.

She has gotten praise and opportunities her entire life. Then, after befouling her own pool, she dares to try to give herself airs as a writer. Any writer knows, she's not one. It was offensive she was up there handing out awards and making speeches when she has a plagarism case pending. But, even if she didn't, she doesn't understand writers. She stumbled across her teleprompter speech because she could not relate to what she was reading.
