OK I'll try one more time; my post is in response to This Mad Scientist....

TMS: I am soooo glad you said this. I completely agree with you. I went to see this movie last night and it was good fun. I thought the first 45 minutes or so were especially hilarious.

SPOILER ALERTS: I'm really dying to talk about this movie with someone to see what other people's reactions were. I thought that Jennifer and all the headlining girls/women (Malin, Hahn, and Lauren Ambrose were fantastic in the movie. My favorite part hands down was when they did the truth circle; that was ironically the most truthful moment in the film to me. I also thought that when Jen drank the peyote-like tea was hilarious. I almost felt like I was trippin' alongside her. The part where she was flyin through the air was so surreal. What I didn't like was how they made Justin's character such an ass in the end. I was much more comfortable with him being the loveable, eccenctric, harmless leader. When he betrayed everyone it was not believable IMO. I also HATED, HATED the part where Rudd was talking in the mirror to himself in that strange voice that sounded like some sort of crazed serial killer/rapist. That bit did NOT belong in this movie IMO....seemed more appropriate for...Deliverance, maybe? It was a very uncomfortable part of the movie and NO ONE in the theater was laughed. Also, I was a little put off but how they initially had Rudd's character excited about returning to the commune and Jen was reluctant, but then almost immediately Rudd became annoyed and Jen immediately fit right in; that switch happened a little too quickly/without justification to make this part seem truthful and real. END OF SPOILER ALERTS

Despite the problems I had with some of the movie (which had nothing to do with Jen), the movie was exactly what I was looking for...funny, escapist fare. So what if it didn't do as well as the box office as expected? Jen has had some BO hits and the simple truth is, you win some; you lose some. She has projects already lined up that I look forward to seeing her in; so who cares if there is one clunker? I'm sure Jen will be just fine.

From the Daily Mail - they are saying the Daily Mirror is quoting her here, so who knows how accurate this is (knowing the Mirror, not much):

'I'll be married by the end of the year': Jennifer Aniston vows to wed Justin Theroux by end of 2012

After her very public divorce from Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston has been careful about walking down the aisle again.

But she's so smitten with boyfriend Justin Theroux she's reportedly adamant she'll marry him by the end of this year.

The actress has jokingly given him an ultimatum to propose before the end of 2012 or the relationship will be over.

Wedding bells? Jennifer Aniston is so smitten with boyfriend Justin Theroux she's reportedly made a vow to marry him by the end of this year

They've barely been seen without each other since making their romance public last year.

And things hotted up even more when they shared their first public kiss during the actress' Hollywood Walk of Fame unveiling last week.

Now the 43-year-old star is hoping to make their union official by making him her second husband.

The Daily Mirror reports she told friends: 'I'll be married by the end of the year.'

She is said to have opened up about the blossoming romance during a pre-Oscars party on Friday, revealing they've got even closer since buying their 'baby' - a boxer-pitbull dog called Sophie.

She reportedly said during a night out in Los Angeles: 'We're constantly laughing. Now we've got our new baby things are getting serious...

'Things are fabulous, I'm happy. If he's not got down on one knee, or we're not married, by the end of the year, it's over!'

Jennifer was photographed proudly placing a kiss on Justin's lips during her Walk of Fame ceremony in the week.

He was among the seated guests who watched as she was handed the accolade and gave her acceptance speech.

And he was seen proudly smiling up at the actress as she unveiled the landmark honour.

Justin's clearly already getting on well with her family as he sat next to her beloved father John.

As her lover watched on she told the crowd: 'It feels very surreal to be honest. I was born here and it's sort of something you went and saw as a kid and got excited about just walking and seeing the names.

'To imagine that you’re going to be there is really special. It's fun.'

Following her split from Brad Pitt in 2005 Jennifer has had failed romances with other stars including funnyman Vince Vaughn and singer John Meyer.

But she has now reportedly found 'The One' in Justin, who she appears with in upcoming movie Wanderlust.

A source adds: 'Jennifer has never been so happy romantically.'

Thanks MaryT. I don't think any of that is true..lol. I doubt Jen would be telling people that kind of stuff especially friends at public event. Not saying that marriage is out of the question, but for me she seems to be one of those celebs you only find out they are married after the fact.

Totally agree with you Guest - IF she does decide to marry again I fully expect she'll just turn up married some day; that we'lll find out after the fact like you said. Below is the Mirror's account, and I can see her making some of the remarks they quote her as saying. We do know that she was at the places mentioned at the end of the week and that there were reporters around (from tweets), so it's entirely possible people were eavesdropping. I doubt she made any public declarations about marriage though:

Jennifer Aniston says she'll be married by the end of the year after finding The One

Unlucky-in-love Jennifer Aniston is finally Theroux with heartache – and ready to walk up the aisle again.

The 43-year-old Hollywood star believes she has found The One in actor boyfriend Justin Theroux, and has told friends: “I’ll be married by the end of the year.”

Jennifer, who has been dating Justin, 40, since they met on the set of Wanderlust two years ago, opened up to guests at an exclusive pre-Oscars party on Friday.

She revealed things were “fabulous”, said they had discussed marriage, and joked that he’d been given an ultimatum to propose by the end of this year or “It’s over”.

The former Friends actress also gushed about their new “baby” girl – a six-month-old boxer-pitbull cross called Sophie – and admitted they did row, but only about house-training.

Jennifer, who received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame last week, celebrated with nights out at LA’s Soho House and the nearby Drai’s club.

At Drai’s she told a female guest how Justin was “The One”, adding: “We’re constantly laughing. Now we’ve got our new baby things are getting serious.

"We have new responsibilities. She’s like a test run for kids, I guess... although hopefully kids are easier to house-train.

“Justin and I argue over who takes the dog out and who disciplines her, but that’s about it. Things are fabulous, I’m happy.

“If he’s not got down on one knee, or we’re not married, by the end of the year, it’s over!”

After the acrimonious end of her marriage to Brad Pitt in 2005, Jennifer had doomed romances with Vince Vaughn and singer John Meyer.

A friend revealed: “Jennifer has never been so happy romantically. She and Justin have discussed their long-term future and both agreed that they love the idea of settling down.

"The onus now is on Justin to pop the question."

You've made some great points and things I didn't even realize that seemed off but I didn't know what it was until you mentioned it. Seems like the editors did some cutting in the wrong places and they sure should have left out poor Paul's talking in the mirror bit. Not funny at all. But I like a lot of the movie and thought all the actors did what they were told to do and they did it VERY well. Seems the problems come from the editing and directing side. Always like Jen and Paul Rudd, despite what he had to do and also loved Seth's character. You're right, though, he didn't have a whole lot of time to transition into the bad guy that he supposedly was deep down. In real life I hope he is the very nice man he appears to be. Really have been liking him in the interviews and he is a good actor who strangely escaped fame before Jen. I can see why he caught her eye.

I had been wondering if we might see Jennifer on Jimmy Kimmel's Post-Oscar Special given the pics of her dressed up at the show with Justin from last week. Well she was part of the special in a skit with Jimmy and Oprah - it was a spoof of Jimmy proposing a new show for Oprah's network where there are two interviewers asking questions at the same time to a celeb guest. Jennifer was the guest and she was in the middle of Jimmy and Oprah asking her crazy questions at the same time. She was just on for a couple of minutes, but got a pitch in for Wanderlust!

Also, Jennifer is supposed to be on CBS's This Morning tomorrow.

Judd Apatow produced the David Wain film which earned mixed reviews; audiences gave the film a “B-“ CinemaScore, while females comprised 57% of attendees; 61% were over 30. Relativity was a partner in the film; with a budget of $30 million, its long term prospects look to be in the red.

I'm surprised at 57% female and 61% over 30.

I just found the info from Role Models posted below. Interesting for comparison
Wanderlust: B- Cinemascore; 43% male/57% female; 39% under 30/61% over 30
Role Models: A- Cinemascore; 53% male/47% female; 51% under 25/49% over 25

Anyone know why the under 30's flocked to Role Models but not this?

actually there are some comments from people that hadn't even heard of the movie and said they were going to see it. i really think this movie will pick up when world of mouth gets around this week. as for them calling this movie a bomb already, they are getting called out on it. people are tried of it. the loons are in full swing on the comments also. there's one that sounds just like our loon from here, her name was nancy yeong from face bok.

I was just going to post this. For those on the west coast, you can still catch it. Kimmel did a great job, the whole Oprah skit was good. (One of the other proposals was a Book Club Fight Club, too bad they couldn't get Pitt for that. I wonder if they tried.)

That is untrue. She kissed his cheek, she kissed Sandler on the lips !
http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/303555/ ... photos.htm

It's the same lack of direct emotional connection shown with Mayer at the Oscars;
http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2009/s ... niston.jpg

IMO it's another in a long line of PR generated co-star romance spectacles to sell a movie and compete with her ex in the media.
I hope her management team will now deeply realize that content and quality sell movies, not the hype surrounding Jen's personal life, and they will let her be with who she wants to, instead of creating an image to sell.

Yes, we know. You HAVE To make sure ALL the cameras catch you slurping ALL over your partner for it to be a real relationship. And if you get him to rub your buttpa......I mean, your butt, even better!

If you think that emotional connection only is when you kiss someone on the lips, I feel sorry for you.

What foolishness - Jennifer never said she kissed him on the lips. The media - desperate for PDA from the couple - jumped to call it their first "official" public kiss. They've been very careful to keep private about their relationship in public, but at the same time this was an event honoring her and which anyone would want to have the special people in their life attend. If you watch the video she came over and kissed everyone in the first row in the same manner - her father, stepmother, Justin, manager, and agent all got a kiss on the cheek from her.

I think they're doing a great job of straddling the line between not making their relationship a public show (posing on carpets together, intimate PDA for cameras), and still acting like any couple would and living their lives. Her WOF was the equivalent to a regular person getting a special honor or recognition from their employer or industry and in those cases usually the regular person brings significant others and parents along, poses with them, shows more intimate PDA. Jennifer and Justin didn't pose for cameras, didn't display intimate PDA, but he was there to support her. I'm sure if she didn't have the whole world watching her every move they would have liked to kiss more intimately and take pics together on her Star.

In other Jennifer news, from Variety:

Out of the ball park
Night Before party raises $5 mil for Motion Picture & Television Fund

Stacy Keibler, George Clooney, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux unwind at the Night Before party.

Saturday's 10th annual Night Before party followed two traditions: wall-to-wall showbiz heavyhitters in a high-energy mood, and an evening of impressive fund-raising. The fete at the Beverly Hills Hotel raised $5.5 million for the Motion Picture & Television Fund, adding to more than $50 million raised at the past nine events.

MPTF's Ken Scherer saluted Jeffrey Katzenberg for all that he's done, including his idea for the event a decade ago. "It's really Jeffrey's vision for this kind of party," said Scherer.

After the first event in 2003, Katzenberg said, "I think we hit a home run."

And the home runs continued Saturday with an all-star team in attendance. Steven Spielberg and Stacey Snider ushered in the Reliance group including Anil Ambani. J.J. Abrams chatted with George Lucas, while Meryl Streep huddled with Ron Meyer. Elton John literally bumped into Taye Diggs.

Wendi Deng took out her iPhone -- complete with a Hello Kitty case -- to take a picture of George Clooney, Stacy Keibler and Li Bingbing, but Katzenberg gallantly took the iPhone and snapped the photo so Deng could join the group.

Among the many representing the exec branch were Jim Gianopulos, Ryan Kavanaugh, Leslie Moonves, Rob Moore, Jeff Robinov, Rich Ross, Tom Rothman, Jeff Small, Howard Stringer and Harvey Weinstein.

Also mingling were Chris Columbus, Christopher Dodd, Sam Gores, Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall, Laurie MacDonald and Walter Parkes, and Rick Nicita and Paula Wagner. The thesp continent was large and included Leonardo DiCaprio, Gary Oldman, Octavia Spencer, Emma Stone and Max von Sydow.

MPTF's Bob Beitcher commented, "All the studios, the stars, film, television, independent producers, studio executives are here. It's the one event where they can come, they know there's no paparazzi, they're totally protected, they can talk to each other pretty freely."

Looking to the next 10 years, Beitcher said, "Who knows? But we have to keep reinventing ourselves." Indeed, the MPTF recently announced the goal of raising $350 million for the fund.

As is now tradition, Night Before partygoers had themselves photographed with the Target dog, although Chris Rock announced, "I'm a Walmart man."
