A witness claims to have seen the 48-year-old leaving the office building connected to Ashley's Tribeca apartment "looking like he didn't want to be seen" the morning after their 24-hour get-together.

In Touch reports the two enjoyed an action-packed "sneak slumber party" that certainly "left Johnny looking exhausted".

"It was quiet in her apartment, like it was just the two of them in them," an insider told the mag, adding: "It didn't seem like it was just a visit between friends."

An "office worker" from next door confirmed the story, telling Star: "An email went around to the employees saying Johnny Depp was using our building to try and avoid paparazzi."

Despite rumours of trouble in (Vanessa) Paradis (pardon the pun), Johnny claims to still be joyfully paired with his French actress partner.

Last we heard, Angelina Jolie was to blame for ruining their longtime romance.

She asked him if he wanted to go out the back to avoid the paps and he said no.

I just find it interesting that this comes out, when the Brand is getting such S*** press and haven't been able to fix it. The Leg, her weight, his face, the kids being out of control, i***** references, flop directorial debut, no Oscar and the cheating discussion starting up again. I really don't think that this story will get much traction either, no proof and the amount of time it took to 'come out'

Interesting tidbit, apparently the Olsens were in LA when the pictures of JD were taken in NYC. I don't know if it's true, but if it is that's prime lawsuit material right there.

He didn't spend the night. JD was seen going in with his two security and you can see a young man behind him wearing a blue beanie in that picture is JD's assistant. The meeting was rumored to be for the Dark Shadows promotion. The paps that were there know the truth. They followed him to the building that afternoon.

I'm not the guest that you were responding too, nor am I a big Depp fan, but how do you know that he banged Angie? The guy obviously has issues, but I'm not going to give Angie credit for rumors she may have started to help split them up (if they are). She keeps telling far-fetched stories, such as he's Uncle Johnny, that probably keep pouring salt into his and his family's wounds. Why would she be doing that if she got what she wanted? I'm not saying it didn't happen, but she sure didn't catch him.
