TMS don't take any of it too personally. These attacks on black antis recur. It's one of Anno Guest's beef about the site (notice she hasn't been posting anymore - at least with her moniker?). There were Black & Bold and Faye who were also bothered by the black bigotry (notice they're gone, too?). Some forums left to their own devices sometimes bring out the worst in people.

You happen to speak for Trayvon Martin which anybody with a heart would side with. Unfortunately there are the racists who are siding with Zimmerman. One unarmed young man is dead while another still walks free with his camp making all sorts of excuse for a justifiable homicide. Florida is a death penalty state, no?

Thank you Guest. I usually ignore posts like that but when this person decided to falsely accuse me of pulling the race card, I thought I'd ask them why. Also, looks like a moderator deleted some posts on this thread because yesterday, a poster called me the N word. I didn't go all crazy because I know its just the internet. I told them that if they were really that brave, they should say it to a persons face instead of hiding behind a computer...and then a couple of hours later, the post and my response was gone.

In life, it's bad enough when we witness racist attitudes and even comments the speaker is ignorant of as racist or bigoted. Those should be directly addressed. But on the net, those attitudes are just too widespread to be bothered with. For one, those with that attitude are too stubborn and ignorant to be reasoned with. For instance, you just have to accept there are the tea partiers and actual Sarah Palin fans.

Just be thankful they aren't in your real life.

It is wrong that TMS was called that or anyone else is. When you bring a heated news issue open to public searches (google) with people that don't normally post here that is what happens. Ignorant name callers don't usually last here because they are called out on it. When you invite off topic outsiders here, regular posters don't want to deal with. FF was a small and fun place. Add the loons grasping onto any weakness they can find and it doesn't help with the invasion.
