If you cited OK! Magazine, then it MUST be true! /sarcasm. As has been pointed out, OK!'s unassailable Jen/Justin sources also swore up and down that they were eloping in New York during New Year. I'm sure the same "pal" supplied both the elopement and house-splitting scoops.

I don't care if your talking JA or the JPs. You're a fool if you believe everything you read at the supermarket checkout.

Exactly! These tabloids have no "sources" other than their own imaginations. It doesn't matter who the celebs are that they are writing about, unless they are quoting a celeb directly, or have been given some sort of exclusive interview (usually reserved for People or US), then they have no credibility at all. Particularly in the case of OK!, In Touch , Star and Life & Style. Occasionally US or People gets a scoop from an off-record publicist (recent example being Witherspoon's pregnancy), who wants some version of events out there without being quoted - usually when a celeb couple splits. But those situations are few and are easily distinguishable. Otherwise all these articles are simply stories written by the tabs writers and concocted from their imaginations - sometimes based on some partial truth or image or quote, and sometimes (more often) completely invented. And that goes for whether the stories are about Jennifer and Justin, Jolie/Pitt, or anyone else.

In the case of a couple as private as Jennifer and Justin, who have been able to keep their relationship and dealings very private (we found out about their home purchase and apartment sales after the fact - and neither have been confirmed by them, they adopted the dog and no one knew until they told us, they travel to NY and we only find out once they are spotted and sold out by stores or tweeters, etc.), there is no reason to think there is any source close to them that is speaking to tabloids. There is zero evidence to support this and a ton of evidence to support the opposite - the tabloids have been consistently wrong about them, they haven't married, eloped, had a child, etc., all of which has been repeatedly put out there by these tabloids. Even more ridiculous is to think they would tell anyone, let alone someone who would then go talk to OK!, about their living arrangements.

Besides, other than OK!'s salacious headline about them living separately in the home, they story goes on to say they will share a bedroom and in fact will just have their own space within the home - pretty much what every couple who can afford a 8500 sq. foot, $21 million home (or one a lot less in cost and space!) would have. Essentially, they are using a tabloid trick of putting out a headline that is salacious but utterly stretches the bounds of their story, and then the content doesn't equate to that headline. They are counting on people to trust and believe the headline, and not concentrate on the content that contradicts it. It's laughable that some people still fall for thissort of thing.

These "protector" quotes were spreading pretty wide this morning, but was this from a new interview? People are treating it like it is, but i don't know. It kinda seems like Marie Claire AU cobbled together some quotes from the Wanderlust press junket. Like, In a video with Extra (I think), the interviewer asked something like, whether Justin was an alpha male like Seth. And JA's response was definitely "He's a protector, for sure." (I think she also said, "But he's not a deceiver or douchey.") the other stuff about getting her anonymity back and about how she had previously built up protective walls was also stuff she talked about in February.

I suppose it's possible that she gave Marie Claire a separate interview at the time, and it's pretty common that interviewers ask repetitive questions and then get repetitive answers. But the "He's a protector, for sure" is something I'd definitely heard before.

"Protector", isn't the man supposed to help his lady love (or employer in Midget Man's case) out of the car, how about NOT HOGGING the umbrella so that his BALD head doesn't get wet, but doesn't care a damn about her weave, or how about RUNNING at least 20 paces in front of said "lady love" (especially if her personal paps aren't directly positioned in front of them), all of these things this so called "protector" has done countless times during their infrequent planned pap strolls. Now there has NEVER been a time that Brad did not open the door for his TRUE LOVE, Angie, he has ALWAYS been a true protector (Midwestern upbringing) of the woman he loves and the Mother of HIS children. And that dear HATERS is the difference in being PAID (Midget Man) to PRETEND to care and REALLY caring. CONGRATS to Brad and Angie and their adorable children, it will no doubt be a beautiful, family oriented wedding, (I bet the elder Pitts are over the moon).

Jennifer Aniston Talks to Marie Claire Australia About Her "Protector" Justin

Jennifer Aniston covers the May issue of Marie Claire Australia with a photo that was recycled from an older Elle shoot. However, Jen's interview with the publication is all new. She chatted up her and boyfriend Justin Theroux's movie Wanderlust, which opens in Australia on April 25. Jen and Justin are currently hanging out together around their LA home base and were also recently spotted on a dinner date with Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. Inside the magazine, the 41-year-old actress dished on her love life with Justin, going topless, and finally letting her guard down. Here's more from the interview with Jennifer Aniston in

•On her relationship with boyfriend Justin Theroux: "He's a protector, for sure. He's just a good human being,
and so funny."

•On her topless scene for Wanderlust: "There are always nerves when you shoot a scene like that. But the adrenaline takes you through it and then you have the girls come in and cover you up immediately. I got very comfortable with seeing nude people, pretty much immediately. It was bizarre to know that these were actually nudists — because there's a nudist colony in Clarkesville — and how comfortable they are being nude."

•On not wanting to be so guarded: "I've really made a conscious effort to not wall myself up like that again. I built those walls pretty high in the past. I think you miss out on a lot of stuff when you're so protected and isolated."

I love that the loons have grabbed onto the separate-living story, but not the pregnant-and-getting-married-in-Greece story. To anyone with common sense, both stories are equally preposterous. But if you hate Jennifer and/or Justin enough, Ok! suddenly becomes a reliable source.*

[*People on both sides are equally guilty of this. There are antis here that are too quick to believe any negative story about Jolie/Pitt. It's almost always poorly written fan fiction, but people let their biases cloud their rationality.]

FYI - some UK tweeters mentioned that Louis Theroux, Justin's documentarian cousin, was on a BBC show today, and Jennifer came up. The interview should go up on the BBC's website later, but I don't know if it'll be blocked for US IP addresses.
