For the love of God would you please shut up and stop mentioning those other two in this thread. (and no it's not the same as someone posting an article where all are mentioned). It would also help if you stop referencing JA in the other threads on this forum.

And because People is desperate to get some interest in this engagement, they've posted this story. Personally, I believe her reaction falls much closer to the E! version than this (indifference). My theory is that Hollywood Life put out that BS report about her being so happy and possibly attending the wedding over the weekend, and essentially forced her rep or someone close to her to give some quotes to E! to clear up the HL BS that was making the rounds. I think this People story is mostly true (the content), but I think their headline and the idea that Jennifer was really thinking enough about Pitt to even care about his happiness are overdone. Regardless it cracks me up that they had to resort to this in order to get interest in this story - it seems the only angle people care about is when Jennifer and her possible reaction are brought into the mix!

Jennifer Aniston 'Always Wanted Brad Pitt to Be Happy,' Says Source

Jennifer Aniston has nothing but warm wishes for her ex-husband Brad Pitt and his new fiancée, Angelina Jolie.

"Jen moved on a long time ago, and she is trying to just focus on her own happiness," a source says of the actress, 43, who will celebrate her 1-year anniversary with boyfriend Justin Theroux in May. Pitt and Jolie announced their engagement last week.

"Jen is not a bitter person and she has always wanted Brad to be happy," says the source. The couple divorced in 2005 after five years of marriage.

"Jen spent many happy years with Brad and thinks their divorce was meant to be," adds the source. Now living in L.A. with actor-writer Theroux, 40, "she is very happy with Justin – and that's what she is focusing on right now."

Honestly, with the E! Story, I can see Chelsea saying those things. She said something similar on Stern a while back, that Jen had already moved way beyond Brad, and she's volunteered information about Jen/Justin before (Thanksgiving and New Year's holidays). I mean, I'm not saying the quotes are definitely legit or definitely from Chelsea, but I could see her saying that stuff to sort of stick up for Jen. To clear up that, no, she's not bedridden or angling for an invite to the wedding, she's fine.

Agree - though not that I think Handler or anyone else spoke for Jennifer, unless she gave the okay. The E! reporter who carried that story is Marc Malkin who is a legit reporter and who Jennifer has given quotes to before through her rep. So, like I said, I tend to think his "sources" are more likely to be more legit then People's and Hollywood Life's. However, if she did get someone to speak on her behalf I think this is only the case because HL ran that ridiculous and obviously false article that was being picked up and carried by so many other outlets.

From the Chicago Sun-Times:

By the way, I understand when Jennifer Aniston heard her ex-husband was engaged to Jolie, she joked that the tabloids were sure to write how “devastated” she was by the news.

That’s so untrue. Aniston has long since moved on and is blissfully happy with beau

Justin Theroux, who several close friends believe she will soon marry.

It sucks for Jen in that whatever she say or don't say would be turned into something negative. I doubt she gives a crap about the engagement, but media outlets would like to believe otherwise to sell their stupid magazines.

As for Justin. Seriously nobody should be believing anything written in tabs even for Brangelina. So now Justin hates LA, but still wants to buy his own place in LA? Yeah because that makes sense. I guess it sucks for the tab writers that the engagement happened when Jen herself is in a committed relationship therefore anything they write about her as desperate wouldn't be justifiable unless they invented trouble for her and Justin. Justin, I don't know if they will make it as a couple, but God bless him and his strength to deal with such crap. If that isn't commitment then I don't know what is.

Jennifer Aniston Doesn't Give A S.h.i.t About This After All

Hollywood Life, your source for all Barfgelina/Analstain fan fiction, said last week that Jennifer Aniston had nothing but smiles for the news that her ex-husband is now engaged to lady pit viper (© Joan Rivers) Angie Jolie and she would even RSVP a yes if she got an invite for the wedding. Well, now E! News is hearing from a source close to Jennifer that the Brangie engagement news has made her constipated and she has zero shits to give it. Jennifer cares more about planning the quinceanera of her eldest Cabbage Patch doll than she does about Brangie's stupid ass wedding. The source explained it like this:

"She doesn't care. She really doesn't. She's happy with Justin [Theroux]. She'll probably marry him. She's moved on. People don't want to believe it, but she has."

Now, this I believe. If Jennifer really wanted to experience a Brangelina wedding, she'd just make her own at home. Jen would make Justin Theroux wear a soft Brad Pitt mask she knitted with Brad's shed pubes. Then she'd put rubber lips on one of the garden lizards her dog caught, and call it Angie. Then as one her Precious Moments priest figurines presides over the ceremony, she'd bust in as Jennifer Aniston. Justin as Brad would drop garden lizard Angie, run to Jen and they'd re-consummate their true love in a bathtub full of ice cream soup. So yeah, Jen is over it (and yes, she's totally going to act out that scene on Brangie's real wedding day).

And about Angie's ring, which she wore while slithering around L.A. yesterday. People says it's 10 carats and cost around $1 million, but UsWeekly says it's 16 carats and cost around $500,000. Brad worked with jeweler Robert Procop for about a year on the ring and the diamond is supposedly conflict-free. The ring may be conflict-free, but it's not boring-free. Brad is a "design GENIUS" (- Brad Pitt) and RoboCop spent months looking for the perfect diamond, and this is the best they could come up with? RoboCop wasted his time. He could've just called QVC, because they have a ring just like that.

My guess is that the Brand are the source of Jen being happy about this supposed upcoming wedding and that she actually doesn't care anymore and is thinking whatever. I also think the Brand needs cash so cooked up this scheme to sell some million dollar pictures to idiots who buy them.

An update on Switch/Untitled Elmore Leonard Project from the director. He confirms that Jennifer is definitely in the cast and says that they plan to shoot later this year, maybe late summer. So it would seem from this that she would shoot Miss You Already first, then UELP. Not sure where We're the Millers fits into things, assuming she signs onto that as well:

Daniel Schechter on "Supporting Characters" and "Jackie Brown" Prequel

Director Daniel Schechter is currently working on "Switch," a prequel to Quentin Tarantino's "Jackie Brown" that has Jennifer Aniston, Dennis Quaid, John Hawkes and Mos Def on board to star. He is also set to premiere "Supporting Characters" at Tribeca Film Festival this Friday (April 20th).

"Supporting Characters," which quickly sold out its first three screenings, has a cast comprised of Alex Karpovsky and Lena Dunham, the stars of HBO's "Girls," plus Tarik Lowe, Arielle Kebbel, Melonie Diaz and Kevin Corrigan. The story revolves around two New York film editors balancing their personal relationships while reworking a movie in crisis.

We had the chance to catch up with Schechter, who not only sent us an exclusive clip from "Supporting Characters" and answered a few questions about "Switch," but also gave some advice regarding developing independent films. Check everything out below.

-----

Q. You're working on "The Switch" right now. What's the status of the film? When you do plan to begin filming?

A. That film will likely shoot later this year, maybe late Summer. The cast is phenomenal so far (Jen Aniston, Dennis Quaid, John, Hawkes, Yasiin Bey, Ty Burrell), with two juicy roles yet to be cast. It's a dream project and every day I'm pinching myself that I'm going to direct it. It's going to be a great adaptation of [Elmore] Leonard's work.

Q. Is Jennifer Aniston officially on board?

A. Yup. She'll play Margaret "Mickey" Dawson, our female lead. I just realized the other day it'll be her first period film (it takes place in 1977), which is cool. Although she did have some sweet 80's flashbacks in "Friends." I'm really excited to see her in this role.

Q. Do you know what Quentin Tarantino, Samuel L Jackson and Robert De Niro think of the movie?

A. Nope. Would love to run into De Niro at Tribeca though and pick his brain. Tribeca is an incredible festival, it sounds lame, but I'm just so happy "Supporting Characters" is playing there. It's perfect. Like I said, "blessed."
