That "took a year to design" is a LIE to cover that the ring is to cover for leg gate. It took 2 months....from the day after the Oscars and her foolishness till the day they called the paps to come take a look at it and paid the jeweler to"announce" the engagment ring being made. What idiot would ever let a jeweler be the one the announce it UNLESS they wanted the "authenticity of it taking a year" to be added in.

Angie's does look better but it's still a rather ordinary looking ring. I would never have mistaken it for an engagement ring. It's still pretentious.

This should end all claims by the loons that Jolie is the one blase about getting married and is keeping Pitt waiting. She is the one wearing an expensive diamond ring on her finger which their jeweller announced was an engagement ring, she did not issue a denial, and Pitt's rep is the one who called it merely a "promise" and "for the future." So it is now established fact that A) Jolie wants to marry Pitt, and B) Pitt is not eager to get married. Loons?

Definitely passive-aggressive. He is meeting her only halfway on her desperate marriage proposal, and even then, he also managed to find a way to insult her by associating her with the world's other famous homewrecker, and by the association he is also publicly mocking her by implying that he won't marry her for several decades.
