Ahh, on the happy site of the space caydets and alien spotters we've had a reasonable discussion about Mars (not the choccy, though I do like those planet things they do) but the actual planet. Look outside and you can see it too... obviously not if you're reading this informative and slightly waffly thread in the daytime.
One of our members has posted a super pic from this evening with their fancy new telescope. It makes a nice change from the wingnuts you see on other sites and their endless attempts to post knob pics... really chaps it looks like a load of giblets. I mean, is there a knob pic on page three of the crappy newspapers, no... what does that tell you. Put it away and grow a real pair.

Now, enough about that and more about real bollox for tomorrow.

Have you seen Venus and Jupiter shining so brightly, so near to each other in the evening sky, lately? In March, the two come slowly closer together. Soon, they will both be in the same sector of the sky. Your sign. That's auspicious. There is no other word for it. Do you feel as if you are about to become the beneficiary of such a profound and benign astrological influence? If not, it may be because the heavenly helping hand is not so much going to carry you to cloud nine, as lift you out of a ditch. But even so, it will be good.

F*** me, what a spangle... it's Mars we've been looking at. :o

I can't say I feel I'm the beneficiary of any profound astrological influence whatsoever tbh... apart from reading this of course. Perhaps that's what he means, only the benefits are as yet to be discovered.

How I'm going to explain being found in a ditch with a "heavenly hand" helping me out I don't know, I just hope it's trimmed its fingernails. :rotflmao:

Goodness me, I lurk between posting wise and informative *cough* snippets of waffle on the usual forum and it's less busy here than a nuns knickers... aww, lack of direction does that...

Unlike the heavens of course, they must be as busy as Kimball Kinnison chasing a whole load of smugglers. Perhaps old Cainer has spied him going about his business up there.

You have some very special friends. You may not see them often. You may sometimes almost lose contact with them. Even so, some vital lifelong connections were formed long ago. Every so often, you get to play a pivotal role in a particular person's life and they get to return the favour. Important developments are now taking place. They involve some of the people and situations that are most special to you. Somehow, they require you to act in ways that seem out of character. But you are doing what needs to be done.

I do indeed have some special friends... not special in that they need to take medication to pass amongst the rest of us without being noticed though... just decent sort of special.
But, I very rarely if ever lose contact, that is not the sign of a proper mate... :o

As for the rest I've no idea what he's on about... it's for Tuesday this 'scope. Really all I was planning on doing was walking the dog, having brekkie, going to work and then wandering home again after lunch. Important developments sound far too busy for my liking.

What needs to be done? I think I'll find it's not a lot... 8)

Ahh, I have been having a laugh on one of the sites I write for... I think my latest n00b is ready to fly the nest now. Free to fill the best wiki with unceremoniously unserious stuff. It's all good.

Now, that site is specifically for being funny... what was Cainer's excuse I wonder.

Take action. Seize power. Claim authority. You can, you know. What sometimes stops you from asserting yourself is not so much a doubt as a fear. You are sure you can be strong but you are not so sure that you want to deal with the consequences of your strength. What if you say something in haste but you then repent later? It is for this reason that you've put up with far too much for far too long. Right now, though, someone has to be told something. Provided you are willing to be fair, as well as decisive, all will be fine.

Say something in haste? I think not... what I say is generally what I mean.

Still, what you get in the situation he describes is silence. They may well need to be told but stony indifference with only the briefest of warnings is what happens, anyone that knows me knows that is sign enough to back away completely... a very long way.

It's cloudy... too cloudy to see stars. Unless you're bonkers of course in which case the stars are forever visible. Mind you they're probably not the sort of stars that you'd see on the Sky At Night but imaginary stars... they talk a different language it seems.

Taurus, Thursday, 5 April 2012
Ever since my daily predictions started being turned into Japanese and Spanish, I have been slightly nervous. The translators are lovely experienced people. But they have so much power! They can make me sound like an idiot or a genius. And how will I know? But then sometimes, it is difficult to get your point across even when you are talking to someone who shares the same language. Venus and Neptune now form a right-angle. If you think you know what someone else is saying to you, double-check, just to be sure.

The world agrees... if only there was a "lovely experienced translator" for turning that into normal English too. :rotflmao:

Alas though, the translator hasn't been born yet that could turn this into the work of a genius so I won't hold my breath.

Anyway, where the F*** is my horoscope then...? It's all very well moaning that no-one takes any notice but hey, people are waiting for some insight for the future not reading about your language problems or about how Neptune is playing angles with Venus... you're there to do a job Cainer, get on with it. :protest:

Heh, there's only one nutter down here and it isn't me... 8)
What is worse, pulling out these 'scopes to comment and have a laugh or actually just having to read this of one's own free will... what a choice.

Actually, what is worse is making up some nonsense and expecting people to find divine guidance from that. Step forward Mr Cainer...

If it is possible to become luckier when a black cat crosses your path, why not get a part-time job at an animal sanctuary? Just offer to feed the cats and they will run around eagerly beneath your feet. Then you can pick up a lottery ticket on your way home from work and be confident of success. If you've got an enemy? Rent a ladder! Prop it up against the wall in a place where you know your adversary is sure to walk. It really isn't necessary to be so manipulative - nor, this weekend, need you try so hard. What you need, you'll get.

So, I need to be rich and have a lot of cats running about whilst muttering curses at "enemies" eh... :o

That won't look at all strange will it, on Friday 13th of all days. Really, I can see he hasn't thought this through at all properly.

I found today that pretty much everyone in the work QA dept (where I also used to be) has a birthday in April/May... how strange is that?
Not as strange as some I'd imagine... I mean, how strange is this...

From the germ of a small idea, a great empire can be built. From microscopic atoms, tremendous structures can be made. Indeed, the whole world is full of people who seem to be busily making something out of nothing. Or, to be more precise, next to nothing. It is extremely feasible to make a little go a long way. It is much harder to do a lot with nothing at all. But even that is not impossible. What have you got now? Not much. What can you make of it? Plenty. How tough will that be? Tough... but not too tough. Now that Mars is finally changing direction, it's time to start getting what you really want out of life. But what do you really want? And what can you get if you try?

So, apparently the world is full of people busily doing nothing... bloody hell, the stars have actually looked down upon my workplace. :yikes:

Anyway, I don't know whether I have a little bit or a lot now, he said a little bit is really a lot but in fact I don't have much after all apparently but as it's nothing I can make something of it.
No, not tough at all that. :?

What do I want, well actually I want a wee now but I'll see if I can manage to try to type this first... hurrah, yes all things are possible after all. :D

As I have a spare half hour (bath time) I shall post some waffle... there are a multitude of little threads like this that I have sprinkled around on the web, some are more fun admittedly and some have a lot of interaction which is more interesting. It could be any subject, this just happens to be horoscopes... not particularly interested in them as such but it makes for easy content.

That must be what old madman Cainer thinks too...

Taurus, Thursday, 26 April 2012
Here is a nice question for a philosophical Thursday. What mood is the creator of the universe in? Ready for another? Try, what does he, she or it, think about you? Personally, I find it difficult to imagine that the Supreme Being experiences emotional fluctuations or holds strong judgemental opinions about anyone or anything. That doesn't sound like a very supreme way of being to me! That's just one more reason why it is inappropriate for you to think that the universe is trying to punish you. It isn't. And today, it won't!

Philosophical Thursday... what a fine idea, I shall start a series of writings along those lines.

As for what mood "the creator" is in I don't know. I'd imagine seeing as they've invented moods as well they can just create a happy mood and look smug. Maybe it's that story from the Star Trek film and us carbon units are the creators...
Really though if there is a Supreme Being then we are going to have a bit of a chat at some point... and one of us is getting a swift kick up the arse and it's not me.

Supreme Beings Of Leisure though... well, I've posted many a tune link for those... perhaps that's what you hear on the way to the next world. 8)

It's not uncommon here I see...
Anyway, I have some time before chaos ensues later so I shall see what the mad astrologer has to say about today. I have only a few e-mails to write and a cup of coffee to distract me until then.

According to some religions, we are all sinners. Others believe that, even if this is true, we are also all, potentially, great saints. We have it within our power, each and every day, to make a clear, conscious choice to do wonderful things. We can resolve to rise above sorrow, sadness, anger and aggravation. We can strive to think only kind thoughts and to share joy and inspiration. Of course, that is all a lot easier said than done. But right now, at least, for you, it is a little more easily done than you might think.

According to what would be my religion really then it's up to me to sort out how I behave, there are no excuses. So, make a clear concious choice to do wonderful things eh... and be up against an endless parade of people that are only too happy to take advantage of all that perhaps. :o

Meh, to rise above and carry serenely on with life is easy indeed... the good ones tag along together & those that know no better get left to wallow in their own strange world. Such is life and always will be.

Not a lot happening here, so one has to resort to horoscope action. Probably just what old Cainer thinks of a morning.

I've started writing my own weekly scopes on another site... naturally they are full of nonsense and not a little biased for people whose signs I know. It said in the stars that all Leo chaps would have a hard time opening a tin of pilchards, honest...

Taurus, Friday, 11 May 2012
'Why do women have passion, intellect and moral activity but a place in society where none of these things can be exercised?' By 'moral activity' Florence Nightingale meant discrimination. She lived in an era when women were considered incapable of this. But after she died such attitudes began to fade away, not least because of the role she played in questioning them. What are you questioning this weekend? How far ahead of your time are you? Don't assume you are wrong just because others cannot see how right you are.

Women have passion, intellect and moral activity eh...? Of course, one just has to find a site veritably heaving with women and you will find the very same.

Oh... hang on.

Poor Florence would faint clean away when she saw how it is nowadays... some of the blokes aren't much better. Morals would be a difficult word for them to look up. Still, one can always laugh at their amusing antics but I'm afraid unlike the turnaround in attitudes for modern life, it's not that easy to rediscover credibility once one has demonstrated a mind shallower than a pixie's thimble.

So I assume I am right... because I know I am. :girl:

FF was born under the sign of the tit. I bet that would be an interesting 'scope. Unlike the stuff that Cainer pops out on a daily basis, that is indescribable...

Taurus, Wednesday, 16 May 2012
When we feel overwhelmed with responsibilities, commitments and deadlines, we dream of peaceful, idyllic havens where we can sit around just doing nothing for days on end. Should we ever find ourselves in such an environment, we will eventually begin to hanker for a little action and adventure. Life is a balancing act. To have too much of almost anything is as bad (or sometimes worse) than to have not enough. Now, as Venus stands still in the sky, comes your chance to get the balance just about right.

So, this is tomorrow then... I arrive at work overwhelmed with responsibilities, commitments and deadlines but hey what is that I see lurking in the sky...? :o

Hurrah, it's my new planetary personal assistant that has arrived purely so that I can sit about doing nothing and get paid wads for doing it... thank you Venus. :D

Goodness, this bit of the place would certainly be a lot quieter without my occasional delves into the world of a mad bloke astrologer... thankfully one doesn't have to actually interact with him but if he wants to defend the years of proof of false predictions then he can feel free to get in touch. I'm not one of those furtive an0nymous net beings and I'll call anyone's bluff.

Taurus, Friday, 25 May 2012
We spoke yesterday, about a time-honoured tradition of obfuscation. No self-respecting seer ever uses plain language if there is any chance of sounding more mysterious. It is a social taboo, as important as the need to remain properly clothed when out in public. If, this weekend, I come straight out and say, 'you should say yes to the financial opportunity and no to the emotional commitment,' I am exposing myself (and you) to an unacceptable imposition. The best I can do is hint. I think I've just done that. Now, are you ready for the 'Venus Effect'. In early June there will be a rare 'Transit of Venus'.. the last until 2117!

Hang on... we spoke? He actually uses plain language and not waffly evasive bullshit like you normally see from on-line peeps?
I was quite partial to that Taboo stuff though, one could get very squiffy very quickly on that...

So, it's for Friday and I should say yes to money and no to commitment... Cainer is going to expose himself and this is all caused by the Venus Effect...
How exciting... I can barely contain my eagerness to be yet more rich and carefree but also with the indelible scar on my eyes from the sight of some old geezers giblets.

Ahh, there's me thinking there might be more accurate stuff to look at but unfortunately the stars have chosen the maddest person on the planet (apart from some other people I know) to impart their *cough* learned wisdom of the future... how unlucky was that...?

Taurus, Tuesday, 10 July 2012
All you want is a little comfort and reassurance. Is that too much to ask for? It sometimes seems as if we live in a world that is full of reasons to worry. Somewhere, there must be giant factories, churning out a constant supply of fresh concerns and new anxieties. Perhaps if we could just track them down and close them up, we could liberate the whole human race from the icy grip of all that fear. What unnerves you now? Does it really deserve as much credence as you are giving it? Be less bothered and less will bother you.

If those factories are anything like the one I appear at in the mornings then I doubt the human race will be troubled by any proper concerns that would last more than a week or so.

Unlike the excellent factory I went to visit today where there were massive engines that have stood the test of time, now that would be scary if they made anxieties.

Ahh, it's been a while and as I'll be wandering off to the duvet after a happy evening discussing Martian Olympics and spaceship design I'll just pop this on here...

Taurus, Friday, 17 August 2012
Some people are afraid of flying. It doesn't matter how many times you tell them that cars are more dangerous than planes, they just can't see past an emotional, almost visceral, reaction to one particular mode of transport. You can show them as many reassuring statistics as you like, they will just point to the noise and speed of the engine and say, 'But it looks scary!' But generally in life, the scariest things are the ones we can't see. Don't waste your weekend, reacting to monsters that actually have no teeth. P.S. The conjunction of Mars and Saturn remains a potent force for change. If you're now striving to make a vital choice, I can help you make the right decisions!

Hmmm, it's precisely because I know what's in cars that makes me cringe when I see many tons of hastily jammed together bits of metal try to take to the skies...
The engines though, well that's different... I've spent some time lurking about where those are made and I'm satisfied they are both full of win and nicely shaped pieces of aluminium.

Anyway, I'll keep an eye out for those scary toothless monsters but I can't say I'll lose any sleep over them even though I can't see 'em.

Choice eh... so, exactly which bit of seaside shall we invade next week then. It's a vital decision indeed. 8)
