Oh dear god. This thread is just full of junk. The loons as well as people replying to the loons are at fault. I (as well as many others on this thread, I'm sure) do not give a flying fuuck who simmy is so why can't people STOP derailing threads because of that? Obsessing over this simmy person makes you just as insane as them, or even worse. I think whoever keeps mentioning simmy is the person that actually needs the medical attention. This is just ridiculous.

Looks like Jennifer didn't show for the Comedy Awards. I have to say I'm a bit surprised and find this out of character given her nomination. However, it seems she wasn't the only nominee in her category not to show - I haven't seen any pics yet of Cameron Diaz, Emma Stone, Kristen Wiig or Melissa McCarthy either. I would think that at least the last two would be in attendance (given McCarthy won and I'm sure Wiig' Bridesmaids was a winner in other categories), but who knows. Maybe she and/or Justin were unable to get away from LA? Hopefully she will be in attendance at the TV Academy honor for Five on Wednesday. I'll be highly suspicious if she also doesn't show up to that.

Well, I'm not really sure, exactly - just that I would then think something is up. It would be very strange for her not to be present at an event honoring a project she shepherded, is an exec producer and one of the directors of. I still find it odd she didn't attend the Comedy Awards, but this can be explained away given others in her category also seemed not to attend, it was held in NY and they are currently based in LA, she perhaps knew she wouldn't win her category given McCarthy's surge this year, etc. But the Wednesday ceremony is specifically to honor Five (and a couple of other programs), is being held in LA where they currently are, and Jennifer is one of, if not THE key person behind the project. If she doesn't attend that and no sufficient reason is given for her absence, I will certainly think it was intentional and perhaps something is wrong or she is hiding out for some reason. As of right now, I do think she will attend though.

Hopefully nothing's wrong but Jennifer, whenever possible, does tend to make concerted efforts to avoid the paps for long periods of time. She's actually pretty good at that.

I didn't realize that the Wednesday event was to specifically honor Five. Very cool and I hope she shows. I hope its up for some Emmys which should be announced next month. Love that Jennifer worked again with Marta Kaufman from Friends.
