I had no idea who this actor was, so I went to check out his i.m.d.b. page. Not a very big resume....like I said....d-list actors...no names....will end up in supporting characters. I guess even Jude Law, passed on this bomb in the making...

Having a first time director and actors who are not well known will be right up JoLie's alley. She will push at them to gain control. She wants to prove she can carry a film all on her own. Gag. She is determined to prove she can. She is fixated on something, for which Pitt is probably grateful since he is supposed to be in Nola after Cannes.

If Maleficent does actually get a cast and start filming, he can be across the pond for legitimate reasons, leaving JoLie and the kids in London. Weird that the denial of buying the London house included their plan to be moving from rental to rental "for security" reasons. What are they so afraid of?

Still, no other actor has [b]actually been announced [/b or even confirmed ]as having signed on for Maleficent - no one - just in talks, etc. So JoLie is still sending out faxes to make it seem people are fighting to be in the movie.

well the the producers , the production guy has a lot credit and many people in the production and her . didn't the FIRST TIME DIRECTOR ALSO DID snow white but the trailer looks good it doesn't even look like a movie that is carried by two chicks ( not to chicky) so they know what they doing. How ironic, less than a week ago, she shows up on the set of Les Miserables, and presto chango, he's now supposedly attached to this movie. Gotta wonder what SHE promised him to even consider taking a role........However, all the articles attached to this movie, still has him only in "talks"...to star...he's also signed on for Old Boy and Apollo 18....He signs on for this movie Maleficent, and his whole career that is going gangbusters right now is going to come to a screeching halt....that is the Jinx of Jolie. Want proof? Look no further than every other male co-star she has had (double entendre).

That was Russell Crowe she was visiting on the set of Les Miserables not Sharlto Copley.I don't think lots of actors won't want to be in the movies with her just because of the gossip they will be trying to get their leg over her.

There are always people to cast for a movie, but not A listers and not for this movie. Many good actors work long and hard without much success and will jump at any chance to move up in the pecking order. Not all are willing to "sex" their way to the top like some we discuss here, but there are other enticements: work, money, possible stardom. There has never been and never will be a shortage of actors of any age in HW [or elsewhere] willing to make the same deal with the devil that JoLie and Pitt have. JoLie just has to keep trolling long enough and she will find them.

She would love to be the only household name in a production like this. That would feed her enormous and voracious ego and her boundless need for power and control. There currently is a first time director and one not well known actor reported in negotiations. To JoLie these are plusses because they = more room to maneuver. The Tourist all over again, but without an experienced director to break. Not to worry, she will be ruining a director's first real shot and that will do almost as well. If the movie does film there will be more leaks of photos during filming and more pr ops with the kids than what occurred during TT filming and BloodyHoney. It will be the JoLIe show all over again. JoLie has such a limited repertoire of ploys she uses that it does not appear she is an adaptive learner.

Was she visiting Russell Crowe on set? Or is that how it was written up in the media, via her faxing it TO the media, just in case it came out she was "visiting the set"?? You don't find it coincidental that right after her little visit, that Sharlto Copley is now "attached" to play King Stefan?? Maybe she was trying to convince Russell Crowe to star in it and he flat out refused..... and she ended up with basically a no-name, Sharlto Copley?? Maybe Copley was flirting with her on the set, where Russell didn't want anything to do with her in THAT way...and well you know Jolie...........any attention by a male, and she' immediately goes into S.L.U.T. mode.

This is sop in HW and the movies in general. People are paid to have their names attached. They are offered exposure in the media for doing so. They are promised other deals in other projects. JoLie is being allowed to go around desperately trying to get people to agree to attach their names to this project because she would do it anyway and it generates free buzz for Disney. Even if they have already decided not to make the film or not ot make it with JoLie they will announce casting calls [not an expensive a ploy to keep good will of her fans]. It may be that Disney plans to announce they have not been able to come up with their first choice cast and the movie will be shelved as needing more time so that their first choice actors are freed up from other projects. Like letting JoLie put out the announcement that JoLie rejected the Salt2 script helps her save face when it was likely the project has been dropped. Either way, Disney gets what it wants. However, the way that ruffles the least feathers is the way to go in HW. Things have a way of returning and some down and out actors have a way of having their careers resurrected.

She will try and take over. There was an item where she tried to take over the set of The Changeling and Clint Eastwood had to put his foot down. OMG! Can you imagine what a nightmare she is and having to deal with her on a daily basis. Almost makes me feel sorry for Pitt (almost but not quite). She and Clint were such good friends that SHE INVITED HERSELF (this from Clint's lips) to his Grand Torino premiere and had her photographer take pics of her (all alone) after everyone else had gone in to watch the movie. NO ONE WANTS TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH HER. SHE IS A WALKING BREATHING LIVING NIGHTMARE BIITCH!!!
