And Otter's argument didn't even go into the old lady black hat... all that was missing was the ostrich feather!

Seriously stop with the shock and awe attitude about black on the beach - black bathing suits and other beach wear are classic. Who doesn't have a black summer sun dress they can wear on the beach?

Black absorbs heat you Moron. I know Angie likes to self harm.

You're an idiot and clearly simple minded. There is a reason why desert-dwelling peoples wear loose fitting black or dark clothes. Black clothing absorbs sunlight and the heat radiating from your body but if it is loose-fitting and there is any wind at all, the wind convects the heat away faster than it is absorbed. White clothing reflects sunlight, but also reflects internal heat back towards your body, so the net effect under identical conditions is less cooling than if you wore black.

There are other factors involved that make loose dark clothing perfect for the desert but you seem to be stuck on stupid and only capable of grasping the concept: Angelina Bad - Everything Angelina does is BAD.

So STFU and sit down.

Wow, desparate much? You must fallen from the stupid tree and hit every idiot branch. STFU and sit your large ass down!
Which one of these people are wearing black? Are you saying these people are stupid like you?

You are stupid, loon.
Black ABSORBS IF and UV rays, while white REFLECTS them

She is acting like Madonna with the over coverage in the sun. These woman are vain and think their skin is beyond perfect. I have known woman like this. They take it way to seriously.I am sure she would have looked better in a brightly colored long flowing robe with some beautiful embroidery on it. But she would have to have a soul to carry that off.

If you wear black…
You are strong-willed, opinionated and disciplined. You may be too inflexible and too independent. Watch out that these are not defense tactics. You may really lack confidence in yourself and your own ability to handle life efficiently. It may be you have a little way to go to maturity and are using black to cloak yourself while you discover your true identity.

Black represents renunciation – the ultimate surrender or relinquishment – and those who choose to wear black constantly want to renounce everything out of a stubborn protest. Wearing black on certain occasions shows you have control in yourself in order to communicate an authoritative image.

Why do Bedouins wear black robes in hot deserts?
http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v2 ... 373a0.html

In any case, the black robe/white robe argument is beside the point because she is not roaming around a fckuing desert herding goats. Trying to be dramatic or hiding something major.

Holy shitt, you all are killing me on this thread! :laff: :laff: :laff:

As for the loon babbling about black: Other posters have already addressed the light absorption/reflection issue, so I'll answer your question about owning black summer wear: yes, I do own some black warm weather clothes. But I can proudly say that none of them look like something in which a 90-year-old granny would be laid to rest, unlike Grim Jolie here. She looks ridiculous.

As someone that lives in the region yes many ladies wear black abayas. But they are not traipsing around the desert. Nor do they look like a re-fried version of the mummy of King Tut.
