And what of all the other of her PR/fax movies that she was going to be in but wasn't. It seems very likely that Jolie had to buy into Maleficent as an executive producer to get the part.

Seems likely but not proven so what's your point? I'm just talking Maleficent here and I couldn't care less about other projects unless they are confirmed by a studio or Jolie's publicist itself. And that's my point, it was confirmed she was going to do this film yet nobody here seemed to be able to grasp that fact.
All the rest were just rumours or "in talks". Nothing was definitive or confirmed so no, I don't hold her accountable for that.

They were waiting for her to fall flat on her face and that didn't happen so now FF is happily making threads about her on the set of Maleficent without any trace of irony.

Yeah, I believe she eyed on other parts but it would be very difficult to shoot two films at the same time. Maybe they just wanted some publicity, I don't know. I didn't claim she was in demand, I claimed that FF was delusional about claiming that Maleficent wasn't going to be made months before filming began. At least wait and then bash.

Besides, isn't Pitt for sure tied to The Counselor for the summer yet he's off shooting half of WWZ again for 7 weeks! What about that, I'd say he's more in a pickle now than Jolie work wise.

LMAO! Has anybody seen the latest "Life&Style"? On page 12, it shows the picture of Jolie wearing her horns walking amongst the cows -- the same picture we've been laughing at here. It says next to the picture: "Angelina is Horny! Angelina Jolie blended in with the livestock as she ..."

OMG! I almost died laughing. Yeah, when even the trashiest tabloids feel free to mock and insult you, I'd say your career is pretty much over. I've never even seen that level of nastiness directed at Lindsay Lohan!

So the loon bumped the thread to try and prove that Jolie didn't have to scramble to get the film made. Didn't have to put up money or get other people to do it in order to get this movie made. She scrambled hard so she wouldn't be an unemployed actor for a third year.

It was so bad this went up to just a few weeks before filming started. Then it was revealed Jolie had become a producer on the film, indicating she had to put $$$$ into it to get it made. Whether the film is finished and released remains to be seen. Since there are 2 years before that will be happening it is foolish to speculate on it making any profits.

Jolie needed to pay with her own money to get the movie going. she hired her own children to take over roles. this is a mere PR gag, no real movie. a shame really. I hope it gets done, I'll look forward to 2014 to see it flop big time.
