I only have a 3 pairs of truely 6" heels. 2 with platforms and one without. The pair without (a black patent court) are too difficult to use in public, but I can manage around the house in them. I would never wear a pair outside that I havn't mastered as it dosn't look good or classy.

Most of my heels are 4-5.5", the higher ones having a platform upfront to help walkability. My favourites these days are around 5.5." They really give me some extra height so I can look down on the competition

The truth is I am 164 cm barefoot. With a good pair of heels I'm way taller

For me, my stilettos absolutely do turn me on. The height, calf accentuation, sound of the metal heel tips on concrete, and of course, the insane amount of stolen glances from all kinds of men at my heels, and then up my body to my face - what girl could fail to feel powerful. And for me that power is an aphrodisiac, aka, a turn-on.

I'm convinced my stilettos have contributed to my senior business position in a mans world - they make me (feel) powerful and invincible. Sorry if it sounds like I'm laying it on a bit thick, but that actually how it is.

Yeah, don't bring a CV to the office...just your stilettos...very sexy high ones that make a lot of noise. I love how powerful they make a woman look, but also the vulnerability like they could slip over...its such a turn on to see you walk...blood pumping!

Slopes in heels are a no no dragon bearing in mind a typical pair of high street platforms will have you r feet in an almost vertical position and walking on tiptoes...

Totally agree. Downward slopes are a no no. Even worse with platform heels as the stability is terrible. I avoid this situation and use the stairs, lift, taxi instead.

Other lethal situations are marble floors and rugs on polished wooden floors. Much safer to walk around a rug and dig my heels into the wood a bit to get good grip.

My local station has no stairs. Almost like it was designed to see sexy ladies in their smoking hot footwear 'face the challenge'. SO sexy to see them descend, and yeah, god, marble floors...looks lethal
