horoscopes - good, bad, or just plain daft?

Postby uksarah » Tue Jul 18, 2006 7:35 pm

why on earth do people judge others, ir even select prospective partners, based on this twaddle?

most ones i have ever read (only because they are on same page as the crossword..) are so vague they could apply to anyone.

you make your own destiny.

here's a longer thread started by someone else... vote here. talk there..

Yes I believe basic personality traits
in some signs ARE Better suited to those in some than others!

A Taurus/Gemini combination is rarerly a good combination! Just doesn't work.

On the other-hand, a Gemini/Aquarius or Gemini/Libra IS nearly Always a Superb match.

Aries, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Sagitarius, Capricorn, and Pices are a good chance too,(better than 50-50) just not as nearly automaticly good as Libra or Aquarius are.

Only Taurus seems to automatically not good with Gemini, Scorpio is another not likely good match, not nearly as strong not likely good match as Taurus tho.

With those basics out of the way,
I say:
NO, day2day astrology predictions are a crock of crap.

Twaddle
Noun: Pretentious or silly talk or writing.

Verb: Speak (about unimportant matters) rapidly and incessantly.

Okay every one agree he meaning of the word. But seems some people keep making same mistake over an over again.

If things is twaddle, than walk away. Do beter things with your life. If you come here to say or try to have a topic such as who belevies what or not,
I guess you all twaddle as well.

And if you cannot do better than this silly talking that you don't belive than simply you may have social personality problem. And also seems you try hard to put your idea acrros in unkown domain.

if you not happy about http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/board/viewforum.php?f=16

why don't you go find better place to show your positivity, if you dare to have one.

Go to cafe with your firendsm or the pub (again if you have one) and if you don't have any firend than why don't you go out and make firend to enjoy your life, and put your negativity in your Windows XP Professional Recycle Bin, that is pointed to in your middle left side of the desktop.

If you don't like it you don't like it and nobody points gun to ypur face to accept it.

I am not try to desrespect what you belive or not, what I am try to say is that I guess you have much better things to disscuss things in your life in any unkown domain.

Thank you.
