On the 6th of June (last Friday) I installed update: "Nero 6.6.1.15a". I used in on Saturday and found it froze up when it came to burning a second CD in the same Windows session. I used it again today and had the same problem. To make it worse, Windows would not shut down without me physically turning off the computer at the power point or pressing the reset button.
I've spent the better part of the past four hours trying to fix up my computer because programs have been stopping functioning only a few minutes after the computer has been re-booted and no new programs were able start up after that time.
By jumping in straight after booting the computer, I was finally able to reset the computer to a restore point from Saturday (It's always a good idea to turn Windows Restore on)
I tried typing up a warning post about this an hour ago, but my browser stopped responding (along with other programs)
Hopefully this time will work.
I hope no-one else has this problem as it's a bitch to deal with.
