The loons love to think that Jolie was and is the first/only woman to ever do action, but there were others before here. Linda Hamilton was one of the originals, one of the women that dared portraying herself in a less than feminine way on the big screen - she showed that women can be badass too.
Sigourney Weaver in Aliens is another of the "originals." Xena and Buffy brought it to the small screen.

And all of those women looked the part. Especially Linda, she looked like she could snap Jolie in two.

Should be an interesting movie for those women who like seeing other women do well as action heroes. Not FF'ers of course. They would like to grind the only woman capable of leading an action film into the ground just to appease their interest in seeing the always underdog Jen avenged because her movie is hovering at $500K total and its already been pulled from theaters to go to DVD. Yes, keep all women back, far back, just for Jen. Waiting for 40 year old Jen to hit her stride must be tiresome. Especially since Jen peaked a while ago.

Grangelina is far from the only woman who can do action. You're just pissed because you already know this movie is going to BOMB. Just like TR2 did.
Jolie is a joke. She looks like she's about to fall over from malnutrition and osteoporosis. I love tough kick ass women action heroes who can actually pull it off.

Yes, this is fantastic. I even loved JB in Blade and I can't stand her, but, she played the character great, and its the best she's looked.

Xena is my all time favorite. I'm sure if Xena was just out now the loons would be claiming she was a Jolie wanna be with the dark hair and blue eyes, but Xena came out in '95 before anyone knew who the hell Jolie was. I laugh when Loons try to belittle TV careers. Xena was on for 6 years with a female only hero lead. Do they know how hard it is to keep people interested for 6 years? Hell, Jolie can't even keep people interested long enough to see her sequels.
Lucy Lawless is a real bad ass if you ask me. She had two pregnancies during Xena and shot a whole seasons through one of them. She was healthy and built like a woman you could believe could actually kick ass!

I agree with you. However, she only had one pregnancy during the show and worked the whole way through it. And she also broke her pelvis at one point and continued working (though not as many action scenes obviously).
