Guess I've been watching too many BritComs on PBS - just trying to speak like the natives, this being a UK message board... Wellies (short for wellingtons, I believe) are big rubber boots. They're pretty popular with the commercial fishermen and country gentlemen in my area. They don't really call them wellies around here, or anywhere else in the US I suppose

Charlie, sorry about the delay, lost track of this topic for awhile. My favorite britcoms are: Are You Being Served, Fawlty Towers, Red Dwarf, Black Adder, and of course Python. And today's outfit is: grey skirt, just above the knees with a side-slit halfway up the thigh, knee-high black boots, low-cut white silk blouse, black bra (not quite concealed), and a shorty black leather jacket. Just got back from applying for a job at Hooters
