how can you have a 2008 car in 2007???

New units are generally sent out to dealerships around October. For example, we were getting 2008 Tahoe's in around october of 2007. Same thing goes for the 2008 Corvettes. We got those in around November of 2007. Thats how it works in the states anyeays.

Could be, only real way to tell is to check your owners manual, or if you know how to figure out the year of the model via the VIN number.

Yup.

But only at the paddocks. It's not licensed for the roads.

Ive got an 03 plate Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCi in Silver. I call him Olly. He's my baby. Lovely to drive and does about ten million miles to the gallon. :P

My boyfriend has a Chrysler 300C 5.7 V8 in black. Which is the meanest, most imposing car ive ever seen. I call it the Bat Mobile LOL!!

My mums got a 55 plate Audi A8 in dark blue. Dont know much else about it really. But i do know a bit about my Dad's car as he recently bought a BMW 650 Convertible in Black. Which he let me have a drive in and its even quicker than the Chrysler!! I think i'd wrap it round a lamp post within a week LAWLS!!!

Oh and my best friend who i live with has a Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 in Red Boooooooo

I don't have car as such yet, but I would love a Hyundai i30!

I'd have to get second hand though so I would go for eithor a Hyundai Elantra or Hyundai Excel.

yes, the i30 is rather nice and the elantra probably wouldn't be too bad an option either, but as far as excels go, you would want to be a bit careful, especially if it was more than just a few years old.

korean cars have improved remarkably over the last five to ten years and the hyundais in particular are equal to, or in some cases better than, their competitors. the quality of the early ones was rather poor though. also being at the lower end of the price range, you are likely to find examples that have been neglected and not serviced properly - not a good thing for any car. if you're looking at an excel, you need to be doubly sure that it has been looked after.

i started a poll on another forum about the quality of korean cars and the general response was that they were good cars and have improved a lot since the early days http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=39356&highlight=hyundai

My dad sat in an i30 the other day, and said he loved it, and wants to buy one. I am envious, he didn't even take any pictures!
