All sounds a bit dodgy to me. If a finger would be regrown with this neon treatment (any link to this having been done?), why would a foreskin only be regrown in part? And how can you regrow the specific nerves in removed tissue without regrowing the tissue itself?

That is a reason for many parents who have their babies circumcised. Not that it has any bearing on the topic whatsoever, as women with a clear preference for circumcision seem to treat it as a matter of fashion at any rate, regardless of what the underlying causes for circumcision were.

What does having control over something have to do with having a preference? If anything, the OPPOSITE of what you say here is true: if we CAN control something (such as what clothes to wear and such), THEN why can't you have a preference? That would certainly be much more justifiable than having a preference for something out of people's control.

But of course people have preferences for anything, regardless of the rather curious "control/not control" qualifier.

No, Christians do not do this. There are circumcized Christians as well, of course, but not because they are Christian. The New Testament explicitly relieves Christians of their duty to circumcize. And there are also a growing number of Jews who do not circumcize, as well as some Muslims.

Women. I'm intact, never had lack of female initiative or enthusiasm to blow me. Doesn't seem to be a problem for most other Europeans, either.

The answer, of course, is men. However, there are men in cultures where they circumcise women who think of an intact vagina as ugly. They're used to cut, so they like cut. And buy into all the myths about uncut, without any actual knowledge on the subject. Same as you.
