Bah, I wouldn't be f*cked to read all that nonsense.
First off, every guy who ends up getting cut in adulthood says "DAMN! Screw my stupid parents. This should've been done at birth!"
Secondly. 70% of the US here is cut. Oh they're just a bunch of psychos walking around with hatred towards their mothers. Because circumcision didn't allow them to bond with their mothers in early infancy. What a LOAD of crap.
There are nonsense books written about everything. Just because someone wrote a book means nothing. Ever heard of the bible?
Lastly, to Ezra. I did have it done for physical reasons. Phimosis and a short thick frenulum. There's something that screwed up the bonding experience in my life. My parents not having me cut. Seriously. I hated them for years for that in the back of my head.
The whole "only grown men should be able to choose this for themselves." That's so funny. No grown man wants to have to choose that and go through something you will most definetly feel and remember. I had to quit my job to get it done, because of the recovery time.
But whatever. If you're in Europe, whatever. In the US, it's selfish to have these ideas about OH I'm not doing that to my child, cuz I'm a hippy! Your kid is going to grow up feeling different from everyone else and is going to hate his parents for being silly hippies.
It's cultural here in the US, not because routine circumcision is nesscary. A lot of things in life aren't nesscary. It's just a good idea. And I've lived through both experiences, including getting the surgery done in adulthood, my opinions and people's like me are more valid than those of others. Not trying to sound conceited. It's just the simple truth. It's like me not liking it when big boob ladies get
breast reductions. No! Precious boobs! I have no say in that. I wouldn't understand.
