The average would be meaningless...

What's your height? What's your build?

And if you really want to head for "normal" then it would probably be better to head for the Median rather than the Mean (=average); I've not plotted the distribution (not enough 15yr old girls to sample to hand) but my expectation would be that the median would be more representative.

Perhaps the most important question is: are you happy with the way you are? If so, then how you are is probably right for you already.

hi, i also am 15. I happen to know more than i should about diet, appropriate weight, eating disorders and nutrition. If you are 5 feet, your weight could range anywhere from 95 to 125 depending upon muscle mass, metabolism, and the amount of time you've been having a period. However, there are so many aspects that this depends on that it is better to get _ and check it out yourself, or just see you doc.

Some units would probably help here. Is this Kg? Or Lb? If that's Stone then it would strike me as a little on the overweight side....

It doesn't really matter what units you use on this board (foot-pounds per cubic fortnight is fine if relevant...) but given the different "norms" around the world it's definately a good idea to say which you are using!!

Work out your BMI (Body Mass Index) and consult a BMI chart...

Hi I'm fifteen years old, 5'3" and I weigh 125 lbs. I'm from the USA most of you seem to be from the UK so you might not be familiar with how our sizes work, but... I am a size 2 or 4 petite. Is it odd that I weigh so much, I know I eat a ton of crappy foods but I play a lot of tennis, year round to. The weather is good here in California 8) I try to work out at the gym as often as I can and I lift weights. But I only seem to gain!

15 year old weights

hi! i think the average weight of a 15 year old would be about 125 because that is not alot! i am eleven and there is a 12 year old girl that weighs 180! so dont feel bad about your weight : - ) so please dont be those people who think its cool that being skinny will make you all that. being skinny makes you feel good, but not if you do it to show off!

from,
meaghan
