I totally agree and also i think the internet is a dangerous place for psycho types to get off on sick fantasies.
If you go to tesco`s its like a battlefield on a Saturday, full of greedy people bashing people out of the way, screaming kids that parents ignore and are afraid to disiplin them for fear of dirty looks. People equate being happy with how much they can buy and never stop for a moment to just be.... and think.... and reflect.... on what they are doing. I meditate on life and i think that the social divide is getting wider. My neighbour actually asked me why i read books, she said reading is such a waste of time. I said that i read in order to educate myself and to keep my brain alive. I dont need to keep buying new cars and crap like her as i am happy inside and dont see life the way she does. She said i should stop reading books as it gives people funny ideas and stated that she never reads anything. I said you dont say ? I would never have known that and she scuttled off giving me a dirty look.
The world is a crazy place when theres so much wealth and a throw away society in the west and yet people have no water in Darfour so i dont know what the answer is. Maybe we should all be a bit less materialistic.
