Drew is English. You know, the more intelligent and more tolerant people across the Atlantic?

Sorry, shouldn't have given you such a hard question for someone with no schooling. You probably can't locate your own country, maybe that's why there are so many Americans in Iraq? Got lost and thought it was home?

"Look Sir, a desert!"

"Great, we're in Arizona. Is it me or do those people look odd to you?"

"Damn immigrants Sir!"

"Kill 'em all!"

Drew is never English, he said he was American  ha ha ha you gest.

Only because you cannot provide an answer.

Atheists can!

There is no god! He/She/It/The Cat never existed to be created.

It's one of those questions the religious fear. Because nothing they can say short of "god does not exist" has any shread of credibility.

If only people would realise that religion itself has no credibility on the same basis!

STFU you asswipe. Your arrogance is most undeserved, you mental midget. You're merely stating an opinion and not making an arguement. Stop embarassing the rest of us atheists on here by waving it as a banner. I am more inclined to think you are with the religious Right acting purposely like a moron to attempt to paint a bad image of us, but I really do fear you truly are an imbecile.

if there is a god how did he come into exsistance?

Guess I'll throw this out to the guest that thinks he knows every false thing about my religion, e.g. Mormon--

The Mormon belief in eternal progression can be summed up in this little couplet:

As man is now, God once was.
As God is now, man may become.

Man has always aspired to be God, man may think he has become God, but he will never and can never be God. This is because Man is human.

for me taking it on face value

man is now (the time the bible was written is mans time)
God once was (god came first as the creator of man)
As God is now (god is no longer hear but watching in a non active role)
man may become. (man may one day enter hevan) or (man will one day become gods through evolotion or death)

that isnt taken from the bible, thats a mormon quote by Jo Smith

i didnt mention christians, i just took the quote on face value and put out what i think it could mean :), i dont know the mormon's that well

if youre going to debate with christians and mormans, you have to know their religion inside out, this way you dont come unstuck. Start by reading Genesis and make your way to Revelation, which is the final book in the bible. Then we can debate whether God exists instead of talking about penises and Gspots

This is an interesting question that has been shared by some religions. Not all religions believe in an ultimate creator God. One thought is that true Gods are atheists (for lack of a better word in the English language, I shall use God). He will be asking himself the same question, and searching for an answer.

It would not make sense for a being to willing accept his existence as an all powerful creature without question. The very notion of having unlimited power defies existence. Thus, to believe in the all powerful, people have invented concepts to explain the all powerful that can not be reconcile with normal physical concepts and willing accept the incongruity.

God, being perfect (compared to people), would not be willing to accept such an incongruity. God would be restless. Thus, he seeks to understand the nature of his own existence. Since he is not aware of external forces greater than him and ascending to a higher level by himself neither proves anything nor provides useful information, he shall attempt to create a more powerful force through his children. He gives them free will and many challenges to provide them the opportunity to ascend to a level higher than God himself. By surpassing his own abilities in this manner, he hopes to gain insight on the true nature of existence.

What makes you think God's have to make sense to you or to any other human?

That was me above.

My post should read: What makes you think God's actions have to make sense to you or to any other human?

And admitted bigot:

The Colonel wrote:The christian god (I refuse to spell either with capitals) is immoral from the perspective of his own son. Lets look at the facts.

1. God raped Mary, she did not consent to intercourse,
2. God was not married to Mary but had pre-martial sex,
3. Mary was married to Joseph and so she committed adultery,
4. As God selected Mary, he coveted her,
5. Mary gave birth to a b***** child,
6. Joseph was Jesus' stepfather - so much for family values,
7. God never raised, visited or provided for his own son.

Shocking! How can this "god" set rules for others which he breaks!

One rule for some...another for others. What a hypocrite god must be!
