Why is there such an issue to belittle men in skirts and kilts. Surely if we were an equal society, We would treat women in trousers the same as men in skirts (hopefully all with respect).
God bless from Colin.

Terminolgy is a major part of the issue. Men wear kilts or wraps, women wear skirts (and dresses).

And along those same lines, men who want to wear "skirts" *tend* to want to cross dress and cry that we should not look at them as freaks. Cross dressing is freakish. Why wear a skirt when you can wear a kilt? Why wear a woman's Thong when you can wear a man's Thong? Why wear women's shoes when you can wear men's shoes?

Rhetorical questions. Point is that's not "fashion freedom", that's being feminine and cross dressing (even if just borderline in some cases).

If you want to gain acceptance, wear only such garments *designed for men*, call them kilts, and wear them in a masculine way, get women to like it. Then it has a hope of spreading.

And above all, stop whining about fashion freedom and acceptance. You really do have it - you can wear whatever you like without being arrested, so long as it covers your essential bits.

As long as most people see and hear a feminine connection, you'll just be spininng your wheels.

Skirts made for men are a different shape from skirts made for women. Midas Clothing make skirts and kilts for men. Womens skirts fasten the wrong way in any case.

Colin's right...

www.midasclothing.com

but would you be seen dead in that lot? The prices alone are sky high, you might as well go to Top Shop...

Thing is, Colin and David are middle-age to old age men on a youth forum trying to make men wear skirts. It's clear they were the odd ones out at their school who no one played with

I do feel sorry for them. Colin do you know how men sit? we sit with legs apart. Would it excite you to look at our package when its up a skirt? Is it the swish of the material or men looking at you in a tight skirt? Does it make you feel sexy?

I can't figure this out at all. :?: :?: :?: :!: :?:

We already know Bushwalker is a pervert, we've seen his picture. He sure fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down... :laff:

Let me start out by saying that I do not wear "skirts", nor have any real desire to do so or make it acceptable.

However... look at it from a logical perspective - kilt-like garments provide more room for the boys, allow more freedom of movement, and when long enough will drop to cover up when sitting.

It's one thing to be against the idea, and I'm with you on the idea that Col is probably playing for the other team, but at least use better arguments against the idea. :p lol

Buswalker,

you must have oodles of time to be taking part in a British forum strongly defending your right to wear womens clothes at all costs, even if you have to use words like bigotry to get your point across.

Do you have a job or do you sit at home all day on the Net looking for Singles now your wife left you due to your clothing choice? :laff:

It must be one great party for ya'

I'm sure you bat for the other side, but everyone's welcome to FemaleFirst. By the way, in the UK, 'bigotry' is usually used in connection with racism, bit of a touchy subject, so beware. You Aussies are very good at running your mouth off so I'll let it slide this once. Someone else might give you what for.

I don't know if your SkirtCafe bosses gave you the go-ahead for you and Colin to try and overturn this forum and fill it with your ideas but I think you are fighting a losing battle on this one mate.

I don't really care for the ages of people on this forum, I just zoned in on your age and I thought you'd react and take the bait.... It worked, haha :laff:

Leave it for us youngsters if we decide to wear skirts in future, but until then we'll dress like men cos that's what the ladies want. I guess being with a girl, rather than dressing in their clothes is something you'll never fully understand.

You can fill up your post with Evil Emoticons ( ) if you so wish, but it doesnt bother me. You can go crying to Bob at Skirt Cafe to find out what to write next, or even stage a skirted march or whatever it is you people do.

Me and Alf are just seeing how many pages we can make this post subject run into... 17's a good number....  :laff: :holysheep:

I would suggest the average age of the contributors on here could be up in their 20s - a good decade or more higher than the "Youth" sector that you so obviously class yourself with..

I recon that some of the self confessed "Feral Trolls" may be single men in their early 40s.

I think tracey I and the other person should keep such under educated thoughts to themselves! I mean men wore skirted garments since humans became humans from apes!

WOMEN WEAR TROUSERS ETC, so MEN SHOULD WEAR SKIRTS!

ITS NOT ABOUT BEING FEMALE ITS ABOUT EQUALITY AND COMFORT!!

TraceyI should we men say that women are Banned from driving cars because originally theyre a " MANS" thing?????

to be honest, i have written to Next UK to ask why they don't sell denim skirts in the mens section as well as the women's. They do up the same way, look manly enough, so I dont see what the deal is.

I have had to reply yet.

My mates are used to seeing me in a skirt now.
