I will give you a genuine reason now.

At this moment in time, the UK is too cold for anyone to wear a skirt.

If my history serves me correctly, skirts were originally made for men within the Roman times to make them look more respectable.

Also they were used for years by men until fashion changed over to it was a girls thing to wear skirts.

I could talk more about things that were originally made for men, then later taken by women but I'll leave it for now as I could name tons of things.

Back on subject though, I don't see why men shouldn't have to wear skirts. The Scottish do it.

Scots wear kilts, very manly. I have two, one is in Blackwatch Tartan. 8 yards of material keeps you warm. Though a little costly, kilts are great. My mates teased me @ first but now think they're great. And as for denim skirts, why not. They fit well and TBH when I've worn one no one's batted an eyelid. It's often been mistaken for shorts

I know Alf secretly desires to wear a skirt, That's why he's keeping this thread alive. The original answer was given (yes men can wear kilts and denim skirts) over 50 pages ago. But Alf's interest keeps him BUMPing the topic so it doesnt disappear off the forum. Just go to a charity shop and buy the damn thing. It's only £5, if a kilt for £40 is too much for you...

yeah I'm cool. Just tired of Alf bumping the thread, but it is great he shows an interest in men's skirts. Most of the posts are his I think we have a new convert As long as his beer gut doesn't hang over the top of the skirt, I'm sure we can find him something flattering in Evans or one of those places
