I'd love to know who makes all the rules about who can or can't wear what. They obviously have nothing better to do. I'm sure that the dress code freedom advocates could run rings round them.
I've noticed that the people who advocate skirts for men carefully put together reasoned arguments, whereas those against have no reasoned justification, but just shout abuse. At work, everything has to have a reasoned scientific justification to proceed. You can't say that one Engineering solution looks silly, without some calculations to back your statement.
You see the same situation in many other issues, such as fox hunting, whereas one side carefully puts together reasoned arguments, whereas the other has little reasoned justification, but just shout abuse. It is not important which side is which in fox hunting as this is a fashion section.
God bless from Colin.

Kilty Col -

KC you better be careful - Alf is one of those old
crudgemugeons who fits your statement to a 'T'.

Alf can do no better than to throw bricks and change his exhaulted title from
time to time - now he is some sort of demigod.

Alf - your anti-skirt agenda is going to be the death of you.
You really are the great wizard of OZ standing behind that curtin
yelling into the microphone "Men can not and will not wear skirts!"
Well we have pulled the curtin aside and voila you have been
exposed again and again. Your predjudice not withstanding -
your blood pressure has to be way off scale and I am surprized
that you are still around to huff and puff on your brick soapbox!

It is time for the moderator (silent one) to lock out this thread
and end it!

It comes as no further surprize that men can and do wear skirts.

No more ranting and raving.

There is more to life than the clothing we wear.

So much for the fig leafs that Adam and Eve wear!

Being a fashion freedom advocate, doesn't make one gay.
Many people on this thread are just people who want to put unreasonable and discriminatory dress code prejudice to death.
The dress code tyrants end up as Mugabes if they get the chance. They need to be sorted out before they become Mugabes.

Who is this alf huckham?

He is a complete tw*t.

Why not converse properly, instead of just saying yeah and bump (to his own posts? :? )

Men do wear skirts, regardless of what you say.

Well, why can't they? You have not given a valid reason why not.

In warm weather, a skirt is more comfortable than trousers. This is a true fact.

It's a protest against the nutter control freaks who say that men can only wear trousers, suits, collars and ties, when women can wear anything they please. Equal pay for women has to relate to equality for men too.

Women who think that they can keep their men in a collar, tie, trousers and cage have it coming to them.

What about a utilikilt?

I wear one. Its denim with pleats & looks like a skirt! LOL Love to go out in public at malls & watch the reactions! LOL of course I shave my legs so they are silky smooth.

I have gotten compliments from women saying that I have the legs to wear a skirt!

Alf deserves to be in a cage, with his attitude!

Btw, a kilt is a skirt like garment. Much as jeans are a trouser type garment.

I didn't realise how well known you were, Alf. They can't quite spell your name, though. How about an autograph sometime, even on a cheque.
http://mikesblog.typepad.com/my_weblog/ ... index.html

Don't worry, Alf! The freedom we are fighting for, means you can choose to wear trousers, suit, collar and tie if you want, rather than being forced to wear them regardless of what you feel comfortable in. If you are truly man of your house, you can wear what you want and family will support you. Don't you fancy a bit of freedom to choose how you live?

I hope that all readers here are well.
God bless from Colin.
