Waxed totally smooth! Because my husband and I like it that way and I think it is more sanitary. It certainly feels better smooth.

My boyfriend just convinced me to shave mine all off. I'm 26 and have never done this. I have always been natural. In fact since I am embarrassed to talk about these things I didn't even know that so many women shave. So I tried it and I must say I think it looks really weird. Plus my skin is now irritated and itches. So I don't think it's for me. Plus I think my natural bush with maybe a little side trimming looks very sexy.

First time almost always gets this. Because your skin isn't there isn't used to being shaved. When you start shaving a new area, not only is the hair shorn away, but a microscopically thin layer of skin is as well. I can't say for certain, but I'm guessing you shaved with just a gel and water, perhaps in a bath? Until your skin gets used to it, my advice is to soak for a good long while fisrt. the hair follicles will absorb water, and plump up, that lets you get a better closer shave with fewer strokes to tender skin. Please use a good razor. I know this one is up in the air, but a Mach 3 or Fusion, or Venus will pay off in the long run, when it comes to smooth. A good shave gel or oil, premium razor, and taking taking your time are key.

In the meantime, go to your beauty supply supply store, and get a small bottle of Tend Skin...it'll take care of the skin irritation for you.

I don't. I trim the sides (no one wants their bush creeping out of their knickers) for neatness into a broad strip about three inches wide. I think hair down there is natural - only little girls are supposed to be bald! My guy thinks a nice bush is a real turn on and is very complimentary about my deep red hair - he says I look so much more sexy if he can see a little bush through my knicks. Sorry, but waxing doesnt change how our bodies work - so the hygiene argument is a none starter. Wash and wipe properly!

I just trim mine a bit at the sides - as an earlier poster said, no one wants their bush creeping out of their knickers.

That said, I sort of overdid it a couple of days ago, and I now have something along the lines of what gets vulgarly called a landing strip.......

Do you think any adult with a functioning brain cell would think you were a little girl if you removed it all?

Hair may be natural, but so is diarrhea! But that gets cleaned off straight away! I never understood that whole side of it. Just because it grows on our bodies doesn't make it appealing, healthy, or anything is. Then to say it is a "little girl" not a woman thing........I'm reminded of my food fight in a 5 star analogy in Member's!

The main reason I don't take it all off is just that I don't like the look or feel of it. I have tried it a few times, but each time I let (most of it) grow back. I can't see me trying for that look again......

It is a woman's prerogative to do what she wishes with her pubic hair. I used to think that a woman who shaved down there had a weird nostalgia for her prepuberty self, or had been convinced to cater to pedophiles. But contemporary porn has carried the day: it's OK for a woman to be hairless down there. By drawing less attention to the groin, shaving perhaps makes nudity a bit less hot.

That said, when a woman poses explicitly 24-48 hours after having had her groin waxed, one can tell, and it doesn't look good. Waxing is brutal and painful and costs money. I don't like the idea of razors flicking about down there, and I suspect that shaving down there leads to all sorts of small cuts. Trim the hair to 2-3mm length using scissors or power clippers. Finish the job with a woman's electric leg shaver.

Pubic hair may interact unpleasantly with menstruation. But is that really true for tampon users? As for pee, I invite you ladies to part your pubes and inner lips before letting loose. Peeing with your legs together makes sense only if somebody is watching, and why let that happen?

My partner loves it, having a proper cavewoman, not a prepubescent girl. And hairy lips are exquisitly sensitive...

I have no problem at all with pubes and hairy armpits.

The first time at uni I saw a girl in short shorts with hairy legs, I got so hard I split my knickers. It is an acquired taste. But you all should know that no woman anywhere shaved her legs until hems went up in the 1920s, and women began wearing tank suits and shorts in summer. It really took nylon stockings, post WWII, before every woman in Western countries began shaving her legs. every week. Hairy legs + nylon = legs that look covered with black maggots, LOL!

But nylon can go hang. If she wants furry legs, that is her prerogative.

Smooth sex is the best solution,
smooth nudism is the most exquisite,
and smooth vulva is the most hygienic.

I just love men who are hairless and are taking care of themselves in making themselves erotic and tasty all over. I hardly ever allow me sex with men who have pubic hair. I grew up being used to my mom being smooth and shinny, so the first time that I saw nude women with lots of messy pubic hair in a public shower, I went into shock. I did not like the sight of all the curls at all, and asked my mother what was wrong. She took time to clarify that she used to shave all of her pubic hair on regular basis, and that I one day too would grow pubes, which I did not want to happen. From then on I noticed that she did shave pubes in the bath room. I do not know if she had done this together with me prior to that time unnoticed by me, or that she felt restful to do so after informing med about the secret and practice behind her shine. In summertime I saw her enjoying shaving in the sun in the backyard, but then I was used to see her in the bath room with me. I learnt much from watching her shave and massage oils on the vulva. She was one of the few women that did herself bold and smooth back in the 80ites. So I began pretty early myself, never a problem with my mother at all. When my elder daughter asked me to shave her vagina at age of 11, however, I made her wait a year for some reason not all too clear to myself today. My youngest daughter began shaving even at earlier point , as her hair begun darken at age of 10, so I did allow her to shave from then on for other social concerns as well. I taught both of my girls the whole bag of tricks and secrets of how to shave properly without hurting themselves and how to treat the skin before and after shaving to avoid red bumps and sore skin, and to attain their shine and gloss effectively. None of us consider going hairy and scary, and we sometimes wax. Being smooth gives enhanced sex and even more intense but subtle sensations during mastur--bation. I don’t mind "the juvenile look" because ultimately one has sex with the person within. Being smooth is about to open up to more passionate experiences and intimacy.

Where I live, it is quite usual that girls of 13 years have begun shaving themselves smooth (girls in both of my daughter’s class are for most part smooth), and some beauty salons have a policy of being very forthcoming to younger girl’s intimate waxing. One of my friends, a mother to a girl younger than mine, did take her daughter to salon to wax the first virgin hair (which is not painful in this phase of development), and continue the treatment regularly, and today the girl is nearly free of any sign of growth of pubic hair, and it is not long before the treatment has made her to be permanent smooth. Much money and time is flowing to education instead. I wish that this information had come to me sooner, because effective virgin hair treatment for permanent shine has to begin regularly early on, before the time when pubic hair turning darker and menstruation sets in. It seems that more and more mothers are embracing this biological and natural opportunity as the most inexpensive solution in sparing daughters much time, money and future frustrations with skin problems. I wish my mother had done same.

personally i prefer a "bald" downstairs. my girlfriend is bald and i love it. she let it grow out one time and i gave her oral. that was not as pleasuring for either of us. since then she has kept it nice and smooth. and i do the same for her.its a win-win situation. a all-natural bush is just nasty, trimmed is ok, but smooth is the way to go.

Actually no it is not more sanitary or 'hygenic'. In truth, it leaves you open and even more prone to infection. The hair acts as a filter of sorts, preventing entry of unwanted material and bacteria. Get your facts straight first and then answer the questions according to your opinion. In truth, you shave because society has told you that hair is 'bad' and/or 'unaccceptable'.

I believe that a lot of people will disagree with what tnfiveoh says.
