And I just knew some were going to try to diss the topic starter, by trying to make him look dumb. Why are you women here doing this? Is it because you know men are smarter, and can't take that? Just because men are better in something? That's just pathetic man, you are all weak.

A difference of 5 IQ points is definately something to get worked up over.

Different methods of testing favour different genders.

Sorry to inject some boring truth here. :P

Well again depends who you ask. In my math advanced math class i am second to a geek [who is also male]. In physics i am third to karin [who has no social life, and eric who is the nerd stated befor]. In english i am top of my class, for demand writing and creative writing...boosting my mark up despite my horrible poetry skills. Of course in french and modern history the top ranks are dominated by girls. So seems to me that again this goes with what i said earlier...our brains are different.

And just so you know girls should be able to outstrip me in all my class, by maturatiy rates they are two years ahead of me. They are acting like adults when i am still a kid, but how is it i am still top in so many classes?

Is this a thread to self promote ?

What is, is relevant to the goal of the poster. To me making a point relevant to boys and girls with marks. But to add nothing to the conversation likes ur is useful? At least i provided some info....

To be honest girls do much better in school, and despite my innate ability i am falling behind in some classes, as noted. Making you think there is a problem. To go into my classes, my teachers i do well with are either mothers, or a male. The two i am struggling in as the other boys are taught by single women. Maybe something there.

I did, I said "A difference of 5 IQ points is definately something to get worked up over." I like to keep things short and to the point. :P

Evidence number 1.

Dee25 wrote:
Well I think I made quite a relevant argument, unlike yourself who is two much of a coward to even post a name to your post. I wouldn't start calling the kettle black if I were you.....we can all see who the weak one is here............

And Evidence number 2. Jeez, this proofs again that the frustrated men hating women go personal, and try to diss everyone who tells something about women that they don't like. Is it so hard to handle that men are better in something? Just try to accept that men and women are different. In some things men are better, and in some things women. If you can accept we are different, you will have an easier life. If you don't, you will always have to feel as hurted as you feel right now. You can call anyone what you like, but it's obvious to anyone that you are the ones who are hurt when men are above women in something. It's just too obvious. Come on, try to diss my person again. It just proofs me more and more how easily offended and small-minded you men-haters are.

Well you obviously didn't even read my post then? Honestly, I think you missed the point entirely. You were quite quick to insult women in general by referring to us as weak. You did not ready my earlier argument which made some rather valid points unlike your random statements.

If you want to carry on acting immaturely, go ahead. I'm not hurt by your statement, I am not a man hater either. I think comments like 'women are weaker than men' are mysogonistic, so that is why I said you were the pot calling the kettle black. Also it wouldn't have mattered if you were male or female, I would have responded to the post in exact the same way, because it is your attitude I have a problem with not your gender. But if you want people to take you seriously, then at least put a name to your posts.

Take care :D

Don't want to overstrain peoples brains darlin, I think some may not be able to comprehend. :D

Or we can take the easy option and knock 5 points of our men's IQ by having them watch back to back episodes of 'The Simpsons' for 12 hours flat.....that should do the trick. :P

Actually believe it or not the simpson has some interesting points and has a moral center. If you take the time to truly watch the show get past the funny stupid things you will see it is more then just Homer being an idiot. He is conflicted constantly through making the right choice or the easy choice. He cherishes his family, and it often depicts what a family may go through in times of conflict [albiet to an extreme]. What the simpsons is, is a Satire. So if anything a show such as this can easily stimulate a mind.

Try again dee.

Again focusing on the words not message. One example of something does not make them all like that. To bring this up serves no purpose.

Homer tries to regrow his hair with a hair regrowth product, but in doing so he ends up losing the only two hairs he has and is left with no hair. We learn that we should be happy with what we already have and not try to mess with that or we might just end up with nothing. So I guess we do learn something........

However on the whole, I think that the simpsons has very little educational purpose. I'm sure they won't be introducing episodes into the school curriculum any time soon............although I'm sure you'd think it was a great idea.

Or I guess there is always the good ol'e frying pan blow to the head instead to knock off those 5 points. :P

On the contrary, it adds alot. For kids my age to make the distinction and read between the lines, and for once listen to the message not words. I am tired of having to explain books to my friends. It would actually be a good activity to be done like every homeroom once a month. Or not with this but with another similar show/movie/article. What it lacks is conventional teaching which we associate everyday.

Homer Simpson is one of the finest pieces of modern wisdom there is. Better than CNN, NightLine, and even at times PBS combined.
