tights are great and should be considered unisex clothing

The Funny thing is people say its wromg for men to wear skirts and dress but if we take a look back at history you see that skirts and dresses were more of a man thing to..I mean look at the Romans and the Ancient Greeks.

What tights are best. I like woman 20 den but they are expensive and not very durable. Tesco finest 40 den are good value and very comfy but not very funky!!. I would welcome any advice.

Hi

I would recommend Sainsbury's own brand ( pack of 5 = 3.50) for sheer,
or Marks and Spencers 40 den if you want some opaques. ( pack of 3 = 3.00).
Have found both to be a good fit and long lasting.

It is really very funny reading reading these posts that assume that because you wear tights/pantyhose you must be gay (or might as well be as some nitwit posted earlier). I guess that would make every woman who wore a man's shirt, or wore trousers or a tie or a business suit a lesbian by that super slueth deductive reasoning.

I am most certainly not gay, am married to the most wonderful sexy woman and have been for well over 30 years. I have three great children and a few grandkids. Normal I am - gay I am not. It was at my wife's suggestion that I tried a pair of tights/pantyhose when I was getting frozen working underneath my car on a cold concrete garage floor.

They were very comfortable and warm...and I have worn them ever since. My wife thinks I look good in them and really THAT is all I care about.

It seems very one sided to read all this criticism of men who wear this item of clothing and not a single comment about females who routinely wear what they like when they like and where they like....whether its traditionally men's or women's clothing. Apparently it is mortal sin for a man to wear any item of womens clothing but the thing to do for women to wear whatever they want...hypocrisy pure and simple.

I suppose men who wear kilts are also gay...try saying that face to face to a member of the Black Watch and see how far you get.

Thanks paul, My g/f read your post before me and surprised me with m&s opaques. It is the first time she has bought me tights. She doesn't mind me wearing infact she now encourages it after I came clean about it six months ago. Appreciate the advice.

Womens views are changing, After reading this forum and a fair bit to drink I came clean that I was a closet wearer to my fiancee. She never even flinched and inisted I go and put some on straight away and show her. She likes me in black not in tan but has recently suggested other colours when Ive been buying. I now am completley comfortable wearing around her and do on a daily basis. While I started as a fetish wearer I am now more interested in the comfort and warmth factor that tights provide. My only wish that I had had the bottle to come clean sooner. Thanks to everydodyb that has posted a positive comment on this forum for helping to give me the confidence.

I told my wife recently that i loved women in tights and that they really turned me on. i have been facinated with them since i was 13 years old and i was petrified when i told her!.
However she thought it was funny at first and then realised i was being serious although she could not understand how i kept it a secret from her (i built it up into a really dirty secret)and we have some wild nights with her wearing tights.
BUT i have also worn them a few times before and i have since telling her worn them more and more often and i really want to tell her that i want to wear them but again im totally freaking out about it!!
Am i just being stoopid?
Or should i just tell her.......

The next time your partner goes to slip into a pair of tights for your night-time entertainment, just ask her straight out if she would like you to put on a pair too..?

Would suggest you bring her into things, this way, you may well get a more favorable response (especially in the 'heat of the moment' ) and also, it isnt all about you, it's about sharing the experience.

If that goes ok, chances are that you will both talk and explore each others views on wearing, even if it is to just set any boundaries, if they are needed.

Obviously good luck, and hopefully some very exciting times ahead..!

ok so we spoke a bit more about it today...
I explained in more detail what i meant and she accepted it.
She was worried that i was gay or starting to crossdress!
i made it quite clear it was nothing of the kind and showed her some websites with tights for men etc..........
she is quite happy and understands what i mean and she was helping me order some this afternoon......
thanks for your comments :D
