Yes I think men should display good manners to the ladies in their life but also think that women should do the same. This is not always the case and some women treat the men in their lives pretty disrespectfully and this I think is just as wrong and men who behave in similar ways to women.
Manners display care and respect for the others in your life be it partners, children or work colleagues, bad manners I believe are a trait of those that are selfish and self absorbed regardless
