Didnt see this before. Why not just let them decided how much or little they'd like sex? What you say kind of infers that they 'should' be doing it as much as possible - like an expectation? Knowing you dont want sex at any given time is just as cool as knowing you do, whatever your age.

I never claimed that I would promote sexuality, quite on the contrary. I just don't believe that teenagers today will remain celibate until marriage . . . none (or very few at most) of us did.

I agree with that but you're putting your views about promiscuity onto them. 'its ok to have sex with loads of different people'? Why not let them decide whats ok for them.

I wouldnt entertain the pill unless prescubed by a Dr for extrememly painful periods. Shes not a guineapig. Plus the 'only' safe way (regardless of pregnancy) to have sex is with a condom. std rates amongst the young are getting higher and the pill wont make a blind bit of difference to this. hiv is also onl the increase in the young.
