I fed her and put her back to bed, I was a bit freaked out as I don't think babies this old can roll that much. Then it happed again when I went in this morning. We have no other children and my husband and I do not sleep walk. Can someone please help explain??

My mother and grandmother told me that the first day (was in the hospital for about 5 days extra) I came home from the hospital, they layed me out on a blanket in the middle of the great room. They watched as I looked around, and said that as they watched, they saw me push myself up with one arm and roll over onto my stomach. Since they were talking, they looked at eachother in amazement and asked eachother if the other had seen that. They lloked at me again, and a few moments later I suppossedly did it again. My mother nor my grandmother have never had any reason to lie to me, so I belive them. So yes it is possible.

My 9 year old daughter has been scared to go upstairs by herself, and scared to be in a room by herself. She says that she sees figures in the corner of her eyes, but when she faces them they disappear. It brought back memories, I can remember as a child that I did the same thing.

I'm a 40 year old male, but growing up I can remember being scared in the same exact way, but as I got older the apparitions kinda went away, and now it very rarely happens and when it does I can mentally write it off and not question it.

We live in a new home, but have had recent deaths in the family. No apparition has been violent or lingered, so should I just write this off as harmless phenomena?

My father in law died about 1 week ago. The night he died my 1 1\2 year old son refused to goto bed for several hours after his bed time. This is very uncharacteristic for him. He refused to sleep for several nights after he died and now I will be playing with him in my living room and he will appear to be looking at something and get scared and run in the other direction with a terrified look on his face. It always seems to happen in the same place in my house. It is really starting to scare me because I have never believed in ghosts but I have witnessed his behavior first hand and he definately sees something that I don't. Is it possible that he could be seeing a ghost? If so why is he so scared?

do your children see ghosts

Postby daisyfairy on Sun Jul 03, 2005 8:28 pm

I am a new member to this site and after reading about your expeirences i have one of my own.

my oldes son from the age of 3yrs to 7yrs would religiously ever night we put him to bed awaken around 3am in the morning.

We would hear him crying and go through to him he would be sat straight up in bed sobbing for his mummy his eyes where wide open but clearly not awake as they were glazed over.

I would go to him and wrap myself around him to comfort him saying Mummy's here darling go back to sleep. he would look at me and say Not you my mummy, I want my mummy then he would begin to get hysterical and eventually he would wake up not remembering a thing.

this used to scare me as i did'nt understand why he would not respond to me at the time he needed his mum. The way he would look at me his eye's open but glazed and say that i was not his Mummy did have an effect on me and i did take him to the doctor only to be told thats its common for kids to expierence night terror's. As i say it did stop when he was 7yrs old but it was a very uneasy, unsettling time for us all.

I fully understand why all you mums are worried about your kid's as i was very concerned.

Ghostly Children

Postby Valerie710 on Wed Jul 06, 2005 11:05 pm

HI, I am a 31 year old mother in New Jersey. Recently my 4 year old daughter has begun talking to an Isabelle who she says is five. I asked her to describe her to me and from the discription, and her clothing (she says they look like pajamas but they aren't) I gather it's a little girl who died in my house in 1876 of Influenza. My house was built in 1867, I know the first family that lived here built this house and had 2 children that I know of, Isabelle and William, Parnets names are Sarah and William as well last name Lyons. My daughter talks about Isabelle and how she likes to play with her toys, but she also plays with Billy? At first I was curious, but now I realize the sons name was William which often gets shortened to billy. But one thing freaked me out, She says that Billy has "mean eyes" and that he breaks her toys. Waht do I do, and how do I find out what is going on. At the moment my daughter is with her grandmother on vacation for 2 weeks, and sdhe tells me that my daughter hasn't mentioned anything about an Isabelle or a Billy, which futher proves to me that they live only in my house. I too was a child that grew up in a "haunted home" but I saw him, these "ghosts" I have not seen, so how do I go about discovering if this is what is going on? Any asort of help would be a blessing thank you! :?:

i have been recently seeing a little boy.. i've never been able to see his face though.. hes always wearing a white t-shirt and tan pants.. he has blonde hair... i first saw him standing on the side of the road and my friend said he saw him too.. we both brushed it off thinking it was just our imaginations... but i kept seeing him.. i recently went on vacation and i didnt see him at all there... i came home a couple days ago and i went to another friends house.. i saw the same little boy standing on the steps of the deck (we were standing on the deck) i looked away cuz i was scared and the next thing i knew i was being picked up off the ground.. all my friends that saw this happen to me said it looked like i was trying to jump off the deck but i was holding myself back from it.. they said i was stumbleing like i was drunk but i was trying to control myself.. i see this little boy all the time.. and i dont understand why.. it kind of creeps me out.. i dont know if hes trying to tell me something or if hes just there and i happen to see him.. i dont know.. but the whole me basically passing out right after i see him pretty close to me (which was the first time he was ever that close to me).. before i went on vacation i would just see him here and there around town.. he would either be there a split second or he would be there for awhile watching me or other people.. like hes trying figure something out or find something.. i dont know.. its weird, its creepy.. why do i see him all the time.. but no one else can? is it true that ghost can choose people to see them..? and if so why was i chosen? i cant sleep at night now.. i'm afraid to be alone cuz i dont know whats going to happen next.. i'm constantly looking over my shoulder.. i dont know if i should just accept it or what..?! i told my friend(the one that said he thought he saw a little boy on the side of the road) about this.. and he said hes been through something like this.. he heard a knock on the door and opened it, no one was there.. he shut it and a knock again.. he opened and saw one of our friends fathers(he passed away awhile ago)... when i guess you could say blacked out/passed out at that kids house.. it was same kid that his father passed away.. he said he did the same thing when he went to his fathers grave site.. any connection?! i dont know.. this all confuses me.. it creeps me out.. i dont know what to do.. i'm scared

For Erin, the boy you see

Erin, Luckily he was smiling, sounds to me that he maybe a gaurdian for you perhaps. Since he isn't angry and seems to travel with you, he is perhaps protecting you from somthing. Let him be and say hello, or tell him that he scares you, talk to him. I was told to tell the ghosts in my house that this is my house now, and that they can live here, but to respect the people who live here. So far nothing has been seen or heard. Talk to him really, I know it sounds crazy. But he is a happy ghost, at least in the car :?
Have a great day. :D
O by the way, My daughters name is Erin too, and she sees 2 ghosts: )

8 yo seeing ghosts please help

luBY wrote: HI EVERYONE IF ANYONE NEEDS TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS OR ANYONE NEEDS ANY ADVISE ABOUT THERE KIDS SEING GHOSTS PLEASE REPLY OR QUOTE TO THIS MESSAGE AN I WILL GET BK AT U AS SOON AS POSIBBLE! THANX LU!

When I first heard of this it sent a chill down my spine, my neighbours 8 yo daughter who is a very intelligent little girl, has been complaining about headaches, it first started when she was 7 yo she imagined a strange being on an old three wheeler bike, you know the ones used to have in the seventies two at back and on at front, going from one side in her head to the other, this was a blue and white bike, and this thing was saying "there will be more" gradually there were more, but in different human forms, firstly there were the good side and bad side, the good side was two young children who were classed a friends, then the bad side, one was a caped man with a knife, and a woman and a strange non human small person\thing that rode the bike and laughed funny I was mentioning earlier, they would tell her to do things and make fun of her.

Whilst she was at school she would often see a row of children sort of doing the can can, at this point she would become very dizzy and fall over, then hurt her knee, which would bleed and then they would laugh at her and make fun. The school kids gave her a name called the Crazy frog as in the ring tone as she would get dizzy and fall over, and she also said to her gran one evening that she thought she was going crazy, which is not normal.

She would be in her bedroom also and hear noises, and from the man with a cape would say this is revenge, she asked her granny what revenge was as she did not know as she is only young.
She was very reluctant to tell her gran as she thought that the others would be cross at her, There have been several occasions where she would be talking to them or saying “shut up” to them, which her gran would think it was her she was saying shut up to.

There was one instance where she told that these people tried to trick her, that’s the evil man in the cape and a woman and the strange little boy like creature as explained earlier that rides the bike and laughs really squeakily, when the man revealed his mouth cloth it was her older brother, then the women turned and was her mom, then the strange small thing would be the younger brother.

She does not like the dark at all as she if afraid to see these entities. There is another strange bug like creature that is white in colour and has long arm wings with antennas that often flies above her, this does not seem to harm her, but think maybe scares her.

Not too sure if this is a schizophrenic reaction or if she is susceptible to seeing spirits, bearing in mind she can be anywhere, either at home or her grans or at school, they are there so this rules out a ghost in the house that is tormenting her.

It’s a bit like that film with the boy that saw dead people with Bruce Willis.

The next step is to take her to a child psychologist for a consultation, but any ideas would be appreciated.
