The Big Bang Theory's Aarti Mann to host 'Bollywood Masala'

The Sony Movie Channel is honoring Bollywood cinema with a week-long 'best of' series, 'Bollywood Masala.'

The show presented by American actress Aarti Mann, better known as Priya Koothrappali from 'The Big Bang Theory,' will present the best Bollywood movies from the  past 30 years. Featuring Bollywood's biggest stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Shahrukh Khan and Anil Kapoor.

Some of the movies for you to look forward to are: 'Amar Akbar Anthony' (1977,) 'Tezaab' (1988,) 'Dil' (1990,) Hum (1991,) and Beta (1992.)

Accoridng to WorldScreen.com Superna Kalle, the general manager of the Sony Movie Channel said: "Bollywood is known for its epic stories, beautiful scenery and show stopping musical numbers. India also has the largest film industry in the world, and we're proud to offer these Bollywood favorites to film lovers. Good cinema has universal appeal."

The week long Bollywood bonanza is to air November 6th-12th 2011.
