Amitabh Bachchan In Bomb Plot....Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan found himself at the centre of a bomb plot at his home on Wednesday (04Jul07).The actor was contacted by local police in Mumbai, India, who had received an anonymous fax an explosive device which was due to go off at 4:30pm that day had been planted in Bachchan's bungalow..However, the allegations - originally sent to a private television channel in the area by a man calling himself Pappu Yadav - proved to be false and no bomb was discovered.
Bachchan says, "'The police team and the bomb disposal squad conducted a search after all family members were evacuated."They searched the entire house and found nothing."
