Bollywood movie being filmed in Ireland for the first time ever

Filming will begin this Sunday for the first Bollywood blockbuster to be made in Ireland. 'Ek Tha Tiger' is a story of a man sent to Dublin on a secret mission, who falls in love with a woman studying at a dance academy.

Directed by award-winning director Kabir Khan, the filming will bring about €1.5m to the economy and create over 1,000 short-term jobs.

As the movie features two of Bollywood's biggest stars, Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan,many of the shooting locations are being kept a secret to avoid large crowds gathering. However according to reports there will be a all singing-and-dancing number filmed on the streets of Dublin.

The romantic-thriller which is a co-production with the Oscar-winning Irish company Fantastic Films, is expected to be released in June 2012.
