She may have only just got her big break but Freida Pinto may be the highest paid Indian actress in the world soon.
Trade estimates predict that the actress is charging between Rs 13 to 15 crore for her next Hollywood project, putting her well ahead of the likes of Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif.
Katrina Kaif commands Rs 6 crores for each film and fellow Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor charges around Rs 7 crores per film. Aishwarya used to charge Rs 6 to Rs 7 crores per project but recently signed onto a South Indian project for just Rs 4 crores.
Freida is certainly no Slumdog now!
