Katrina Kaif confirmed for 'Dhoom 3'

She's the hot and happening actress of the moment so it's no wonder that Katrina Kaif has been cast as the female lead for 'Dhoom 3.' She has been paired with actor Aamir Khan, who she will be working with for the first time in her career.

According to One India Entertainment, director Vijay Krishna Acharya said that it took a year to finalise who was going to play the female lead. He added that he thinks Katrina will bring in a lot of enthusiasm and energy and that the on-screen chemistry of Katrina and Aamir will be a big hit in Bollywood.

The movie will feature two of the original cast memebers from the very first 'Dhoom' back in 2004, who are Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra.

Both movies proved to be very popular and bagged a number of awards. But the question is will 'Dhoom 3' follow the same success?

The film is planned for a Christmas 2012 release.
