First Aishwarya Rai is rumoured to be turned into a Barbie and now Katrina Kaif is the new face of Barbie at the show dedicated to the doll at Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai. It seems Bollywood is going Barbie crazy!
Barbie has already had her own show at New York Fashion Week and now India is set to honour her 50th birthday with the Barbie - All Doll'd Up! show.
The catwalk show will feature real-size Barbie outfits created by fashion designers including Wendell Rodricks, Neeta Lulla, Shantanu & Nikhil and Vikram Phadnis. The show will be a competion and Katrina will wear the winning outfit on the runway.
The Bollywood actress said: "Every girl at some point of time in her childhood has played with a Barbie doll and so have I.
"She makes a sweet, fun and lively companion."
