Priyanka Chopra has been discharged from hospital after suffering from exhaustion and a stomach infection.
When she was admitted her representative said: "Priyanka has been working round the clock for a long time now. Week before last, she even fainted on the sets of What’s Your Rashee. Though director Ashutosh Gowariker announced pack up, Priyanka insisted on completing her shots. To add to it, the next day, despite her ill health. Priyanka performed at the Miss India pageant and soon after she returned to shoot for Ashutosh’s film.
"Finally on Saturday, she complained of stomach ache and had absolutely no strength to shoot. She was immediately taken to the hospital for a check up where she was admitted."
Priyanka’s father,Dr. Ashok Chopra, added: "She had fever and had been unwell for some time. We advised her to take a battery of tests and so she has been kept under observation. Though all her test reports are normal, she has been advised to take rest and to slow down her work schedule. We are leaving for a long family vacation, but Priyanka first wants to complete Ashutosh Gowariker’s film (first week of May)."
During her hospital stay Priyanka was visited by many fellow Bollywood stars including Shahid Kapoor who is said to have spent quite a bit of time with the actress. She was also visited by Shahid's parents, Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak, adding to the rumours the pair are dating.
Not even hospitals can get in the way of gossip!
