Shilpa Shetty Comforts Jade Goody

Bollywood actress Shipa Shetty has comforted a dying Jade Goody, after receiving an invite to the British star's wedding.

Although she won't be able to make the big day on Sunday, she has spoken out over her despair and sorrow since she heard about Jade's battle with cancer.

The pair, who were caught up in a nasty racism row two years ago when they were in the Big Brother house together, have since put their differences aside and become friends.

"I called her (Goody), hoping it (deteriorating health) was only a rumour, but she confirmed it. Jade being Jade, shifted the topic to her wedding on Sunday and she invited me for it," Shilpa writes on her blog.

Shilpa also writes that she went through a series of emotions when Jade invited her for her wedding with 21-year-old Jack Tweed.

"It was a lot of mixed feelings - happiness, helplessness and extreme sadness," she said.
