Shilpa Shetty has designs on becoming a TV star in Britain, according to new reports.

The Bollywood star apparently plans to spend more time in the UK, after buying a house in Surrey and is now in discussions about future roles, reports Press Association.

Her agent Max Clifford said: "I am talking to several TV people about potential work for Shilpa Shetty. I have had several discussions with various TV executives in the last couple of months.

"There is a lot of interest in her.She is looking to spend more time over here because she likes it."

Shilpa has become a familiar fixture in the UK since her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother back in 2007, and the public seem to have really taken to her.
