Phillips Memoir Will Tackle Drugs And Sexual Abuse

I've always known I'd write this book.

Rock heiress Mackenzie Phillips will reveal shocking tales of drugs and sexual abuse in a new autobiography, according to U.S. reports.

The 49-year-old former soap star and daughter of 60s rock legend John Phillips is currently working on the book, which is expected to hit stores next March (09).

Besides discussing her three marriages, and lifelong battle with drug addiction, Phillips will also discuss past allegations she was sexually molested by her dad, the founder of The Mamas & The Papas.

In a press release about the book, Phillips writes, "I've always known I'd write this book."

When approached by the National Enquirer to confirm the abuse allegations, publisher Simon Spotlight revealed only that the book contains a "shocking, lifelong secret".
