Single mother and artist Serena has escaped the strains and stresses of metropolitan life and has taken her little girl to the calm of Cornwall.

Thirty-three old Olivia Darling was born and raised near Wadebridge in Cornwall.  At the age of eighteen she met an Italian art student in St Ives and ran away to Tuscany in hot pursuit of him. The love affair didn’t last but Olivia’s sojourn in Montepulciano inspired a much more enduring passion for Vino Nobile that soon became a fascination with viticulture.

Returning to England she moved to London where she spent her twenties working in a series of office and bar jobs including a stint temping for a company who put erotic fiction onto audiotape her job was to take the illegal acts out of the text before they were recorded.

Her other interests include a serious addiction to buying and selling on eBay, learning to cook after being inspired by her 3 year old nephew’s ability to bake a cake, dancing (she has won awards for her quickstep!), painting and men in suits and novelty ties.
