Writing exercise of the week!
So for those of you who need some inspiration, I am on hand to give you some! This week’s task is for you to write a Portrait Poem! Take the bits in bold and then add your own endings, it can be very revealing about your personality and emotions! Here is my example below:
I am (first name) Lucy,
Daughter (or son) of Julie and Charles,
Who needs lie ins, box-sets, love,
Who loves my Fiancé, Mother, Father,
Who sees liars, natural beauty, modesty,
Who hates “whatevers”, snobbery, bigotry,
Who fears ghosts, debt, loneliness,
Who dreams of holidays, marriage, book deal,
Who has found poems of religion,
Resident of a semi-detached house,
(Surname)Walton.
