After We Collided

After We Collided

After We Collided continues the rollercoaster relationship between Tessa and Hardin. The story starts off where After ends and we finally get a glimpse into Hardin’s mind.

The book will be made into a  major film by Paramount, so how does that feel and how did you react when you found out?

It felt so good, it still does, to know that Paramount optioned the film rights. Jennifer Gigbot and Adam Shankman are known for making great films so I’m really excited!

What message would you like to pass to your massive fan base?

I want to continue to thank them for their passion for the story and remind them how important they are, not just to me, but to the world in general.

You have worked in many jobs, such as at a market counter and at the IRS counter, so what made you turn to writing after these experiences?

I was working just to work, I didn’t really have a passion for those things so when I started writing because I loved it, I never wanted to go back to anything else.

You have been with your husband since high school, so what advice do you have for young lovers?

My advice for young lovers is to make sure you still focus on yourself while you’re young. I was lucky enough to find someone to grow with me and support me as we both grew into adults, but this isn’t always the case so make sure you focus on yourself and your future first.

Too what extent do you think that your young love has helped you to write romance?

I’m not sure if it makes a difference haha, but I think being in love with my husband since I was so young has helped me write romance from a young adults point of view.

What is next for you?

I’m going to keep writing and writing and writing.
